Very impressed with this sandwich (and pizza) shop! Definitely come hungry because they do not mess around with their sandwich sizes. The service was fantastic and I was in love with the Turkey Supreme sub. My husband also really enjoyed his Steak and Everything sub. Can’t wait to try some pizza next time!

It was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had! I tried the baked Italian sub — and I have been craving it ever since. Their bread is homemade, fresh, and doesn’t make a mess when you are eating it. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Don’t forget to try their sweet potato puffs too…Customer service was on point too 🙂 friendly and fun atmosphere.

As a first timer here, I went in to order take out and was told it would be 5-10 minutes, so I sat at a table by myself looking at the register. A larger group came in after me and got their food first. I thought maybe they ordered ahead and my order was pushed back, so I waited. Then a group of 8+ came in, ordered, and got their food within minutes. Around 30 minutes passed when I saw this so I went to the register to ask about my order to the same cashier I ordered from. The worker opened up their warming chest and said “Sorry they shouldn’t have put it in there” and gave me my food. I was running late so I couldn’t ask for a refund on my tip. Last time I’m ever tipping before I get my order. I don’t get how the worker could see me sitting there for 30 minutes at an empty table, constantly looking into the kitchen, and they did nothing. Lack of awareness or care for customers or both.

Foodwise, the Patrami sandwhich was OK. Patrami didn’t have much flavor. BBQ chicken pizza was OK, nothing stands out compared to other places. Turkey and Provolone cold sandwhich was good though.

This was our first time at PK’s and all three of us loved it!! The bread, the amount of meat on the sandwiches – top notch! Hands down, now our local favorite. We will be back!

Sandwiches are pretty consistent, and delicious. Employees all seem to like being there for the most part which says something and only a few times have I experienced an employee having an off day. Nothing fancy going on inside for eating there, but usually they have a game or two on the couple TVs. Make sure you differentiate between the “baked” versions and cold and know what you’re ordering, because a few come both options and if you get baked you will have to ask for some of the veggies and toppings to be added. All the meats and toppings are consistently fresh and as you would hope. Parking is pretty easy and short walk to the door. We have not tried the Philly styles yet, but we will soon.

I have eaten at a few different sandwich shops, but Papa Kelsey’s is by far the best that I have ever eaten at. Although a little bit spendy, you get every penny worth and then some. Everything about the visit was phenomenal including how clean the whole place was, how friendly the staff was, as well as the short amount of time it took for us to get our food. The quality of the food was outstanding. Although I only got the ham and cheese, I could tell the attention to detail that was put into the sandwich as well as a simple salad. They also serve some alcoholic beverages for mom and dad if it has been a long day.

There are not very many negatives about the restaurant, although it is not a place to get rowdy at, as it does have a little bit of an old school vibe to it. The other downside is that they do close at 9:00, so if you are a night owl or looking to get something after the game, you may have to find a new spot, but those are the only negatives about the restaurant.

Overall, this is a place I will be coming back to in the future and will be referring to all my friends and family too.

I love a good sandwich! My hopes were high when I walked through the doors. I asked the young man working what a good option would be. (I’m not picky) So I went with the chicken bacon ranch. The order came out quickly, the crew was friendly, and the place was clean!! The sandwich was at best lackluster. It was bland. Just not a lot of flavor. It was boring. I don’t think the chicken was seasoned. The bacon was rubbery and very thin. And I don’t think there was enough ranch. Perhaps a sautéed veggie option would add some flavor. You should try this place to make your own opinion. But know what you’re in for.

Papa Kelsey’s subs are THE BEST! Their bread is sooooo good. Seriously, you have got to try it. And, if you can’t try the bread, they do offer delicious pizzas with a cauliflower crust (GF) option.

We come here often, especially in summer on bike rides. We love the food choices that work great for my family (kids) including sandwiches and pizza. Their Chipotle ranch tastes amazing! Sandwiches are on the higher end of cost but the bread is so soft and delicious and ingredients very fresh and tasty. They also have a small option of canned alcohol to have with your meal if you so choose to, like cider and beer.

I was so excited to try this place. I ordered online for pickup.

I really wanted to love the food, but it just didn’t cut it. We had to pay $1.00 extra to add onions to the sandwiches. No problem, except we didn’t get any.

The lettuce and tomato were super soggy and wilted. The meat was like the thin packaged lunch meat.
The bread was very heavy.

The pizza was okay, but nothing to write home about.

The fries were good. They had regular and spicy. The spicy were just “seasoned fries”.

The staff were very friendly. The inside was super cute.
