It was our first time. It was good, prices were high in my opinion for some of the options. Happy hour doesn’t really have many selections. My husband got the burger which he thought came with fries but when we got our check the fries had a separate value of $5 which made his meal $25ish pretty high for just a burger and fries. I got the platter, the meat had good flavor, I like that the bbq wasn’t as sweet or sour it was just right. I didn’t like the mac salad so I switched it for the beans. The mac&cheese could have been more melted but it was good. Might not come back again.

Have you started to notice how many influencers follow the exact same script. It’s like one person starts the messaging chain and the rest regurgitate it. Even their tone, and sound bites are close in pitch and length. I find it a sad lack of authenticity and has me questioning why I’m following many of them. Now I know the day is rapidly approaching where Grok and other LLMs will destroy this nonsense, force creative authenticity, or ultimately eliminate a good majority of the broken records. The ones who understand this have already started down a new direction or they realized this from the jump. I ran into Eats Like a Savage ( @eatslikeasavage ) while I was trying Smash and Slice. He was wrapping up recording and I just landed. I asked him about the spot, and he tossed me a few of their unique monthly offerings I didn’t order. It was super kind. He then recommended their sister spot Smoke & Fire ( @smokeandfirelv ). I have a slight addiction to BBQ after almost moving to the awesome great state of Texas so I had to check it out.

We got the burgers of the month, their super popular fried chicken sliders, and of course I had to try the salty meats. Overall I loved that place, great service, and same wild menu offerings as their other location. I’m definitely going to back when they drop the crazy of the month.

As for IG, this guy’s account is beyond authentic, and always cracks me up. It’s definitely breaking the recorded script the majority follows too.

I was really looking forward to a BBQ brisket lunch here, but the food missed the mark for me. The brisket came in thick chunks instead of the thin slices I expected, the beans were overly sweet with a strong clove flavor, and the mac and cheese wasn’t melted or creamy. Modelo on draft $9. Disposable platter and utensils were as cheap as the quality of this meal.

Everything was so good! Jordan took great care of us. She answered all of our questions, she gave recommendations and was patient with. We’re s saucy family and appreciate the different sauce options. Plenty of parking, no wait and the food was delicious. The prices are affordable and it’s family friendly. Come and give them a try!

Customer Service was great!
Plenty of free parking.
Someone suggested to try anything off of the bbq list, which we did.
The quarter chicken and half slab of ribs with. The smokey flavor & sauce were DElicious …. and their baked beans were the b.o.m.b.

The Jellyfish Jelly Burger and Big Blueberry Chicken sandwich are killers. Make sure to get extra jellyfish jelly and blueberry aioli. Chicken and waffles with blueberry syrup was also good to the belly.

The place was empty so that was nice! We sat down and ordered our food to find out the brisket was sold out. Our hearts were broken because we drove pretty far to dine there for my birthday. It was approximately 3:30pm.

The server did apologize. She said they received a super big order and ran out. That’s ok. I ordered the chicken tacos and chicken wings. I asked if I could get all flats and she said they didn’t do that anymore. I totally understand. No biggie, but guess what?! When my order arrives, I got one flat and 5 drums. I was not happy to say the least.

I told the waitress. She said oh no, let me ask if they can at least give you a couple more flats. She arrived back and said you got the last 6 wings period. The winds didn’t look that great. It was really dried out and almost burnt looking. I tried to eat it but it just didn’t taste right.

The server was really nice and she took the wings off the bill. My tacos were tasty but the chips were burnt. My partner ordered the breakfast hamburger. He liked it, but make sure you ask for hard eggs unless you like runny eggs. His tatter tots were burnt too The potato salad was hard so I didn’t eat them. We ended up just taking it home and throwing them away.

I’m sure it was just an off day. I may go back to try the brisket, but then again I just don’t know if I want to make that drive to be disappointed again.

I tried this place for the first time Smoke & Fire! It was delicious will be back to tey those loaded frys. We ordered the blueberry chicken sliders and a two-meat plate featuring brisket and ribs, along with a side of fries.
The brisket was very delicious—tender and perfectly smoked. The fries were also excellent. The blueberry chicken sliders were definitely interesting but good, and the ribs were similarly enjoyable.
Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere were all solid!”
Ps forgot to take pictures of the food
