Came across this place on a whim in an early Saturday evening, I definitely was not disappointed!
– Price – reasonable. Bottle of sake was about 30, apps were about 7-9, and the sushi was definitely filling for the price!
– Service – we were seated quickly, and our waiter gave us the perfect amount of attention throughout our entire meal. He was super kind and professional!
– Food/Drinks – honestly. The shrimp dumplings were so good, I would order several plates as my entree. I totally recommend this as a starter. Our sushi was also really good. It was so clear that the sushi was fresh and made with a lot of care. We only ordered a bottle of sake, but their drink menu is diverse!
– Atmosphere – the restaurant is kind of dimly lit, unless you seat by the window. When we first arrived it was pretty calm, then it seemed to be that a rush was on its way. By the time we left it was getting pretty noisy, which is expected with a lot of people. The tables are fairly close together. My partner and I had to scoot the table over just for us to move in and out, in addition we could clearly overhear the couple next to us conversation.
– TLDR – yes, this establish is great and yes you should go for sushi and totally a great place for a date!

Wow. The food was phenomenal. The popcorn chicken was on point! The vegetable tempura was great as well. The quality of the fish was outstanding though, melted in your mouth like butter, delectable! As a fan of crunchy sushi, i really appreciated the nominal up-charge for that. The ginger too was great, they said they didn’t do anything special, but it was the best I’ve had. The service was fine, no complaints. Overall, great Japanese food, I will be going back.

Food was delicious and it was a relaxing atmosphere. We got there at 615 and we were walking out by 730. It was pretty empty when we got there but it was packed by the time we left. They’re very quick with getting out everything from drinks to food. I had the rock shrimp, daisy dukes roll, and irony wine. Everything was really good! I liked when we arrived that they gave us a hot towel and a small noodle dish which was really good.

We started with the K-2 which was admittedly a heavy app but delicious – great for sharing.
For rolls we had (in order of our favorites): Puff the Magic Dragon, The rainbow (which was GREAT because you can chose the base you want on your roll) and then the pink lady (the pink lady wasn’t a bad roll we just felt like there were more exciting things we wish we had ordered).
They do a lot of takeout so service was a little slow but our waitress was super attentive.

Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent ambiance. High quality, delicious seafood. The Sashimi entree was very large and well priced. Not too crowded on summer weekends. This is a great Sushi spot near Gramercy/Union Square.

Arguably the best sushi we’ve ever had! Love this atmosphere and the kind staff. Definitely recommend the tuna sandwich and sushi pizza apps because they were OUTSTANDING!! (I didn’t get pictures because we ate them so quickly!) Rolls we ordered and cannot wait to eat for leftovers were: Caterpillar Remix, Daisy Dukes, Mardi Gras Gone Wild, and Rainbow #2 (tuna base). Can’t wait to go back!

Great find using Google Maps. We are visiting NYC and looking for Sushi this evening. We were not disappointed by our pick. Very local with a good vibe. Arriving a little bit before 9pm they took us right in with many of the tables still crowded. We will be returning on our next trip.

Great place. The atmosphere is great, food is very good and the service is good. Also the prices are very reasonable. Only thing is they add a 20% tip to the bill, calculated after tax, which is way too much. But they were kind enough to remove it and let me add whatever tip I wanted.
