Loved it! I got the all you can eat fish & chicken, it was so tasty and fresh. No greasy taste at all, nicely seasoned. My son got the double cheeseburger and added bacon. It was huge! He loved it. I highly recommend trying them, you won’t be disappointed!

I have traveled the country and eat at many restaurants but I can honestly say the hot rod cafe is my favorite. They have an extremely extensive menu with items only sold there that the owner has created himself. The setting was perfect with thousands of neat decorations to look at. I recommend going for lunch where you have a chance of meeting the owner and recieving the great hospitality that I did. I know you will not leave hungry.

First off, do NOT be intimidated by the outside of this restaurant. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere is awesome (vintagey and rustic without feeling outdated), and the food is heavenly. Prices are reasonable and the deals are absolutely worth it.

Service was fast and efficient. Got the breakfast burger on this visit and it was pretty darn good. Filled me up. My wife got the taco burger and said it could have used more seasoning but overall she was impressed with it. Next time we go back going to have to try some of the chicken entrees, they sounded really good as well. But I was in a mood for a burger this time and glad I got what I got. Will be back again

Great place to eat. Service is amazing as well. Burgers are amazing and very large. If your looking for a place that is unique and are really hungry then this is the right place. I ordered a child’s cheeseburger plate for 1 of my daughters and it was so big that I had to cut it down to quarters in order for her to pick up and eat. Worth every penny and every napkin used. Prices are also very reasonable as well. I have very picky wife when it comes to burgers and the burgers have been made to her perfection as well. The owners are very generous and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!!!

I we got there the decor was awesome made me fill like I’d went back in time. We was the only ones there. The waitress seemed more occupied with the boy she sat with the whole time we was there. We ordered hush puppies and onion rings for appetizer. The hush puppies tasted like they was cooked in fish grease and was over cooked and doughy and onion rings well onion was still crispy and it took about 15- 20 min to get appetizers out. I ordered hot rod burger and my companion ordered the the super charge. My burger tasted like a soy burger it was so dry you could squeeze the meat and no juice ran out my companion wasn’t impressed either. To began the super charger was huge and looked promising but we both took 2-3 bites and ask for to go box’s to take to dogs so, after sending $31.75 we are both still Hungary and my coke was flat I thought maybe waitress got mixed up but my companion said no was flat only thing either of us liked or said was OK was tea and other than fries being to greasy it was the better of our meal. Was first and last time visiting. To bad idea had high hopes but, now headed home after funeral to fix some food after spending over $30 on food wasn’t edible. Also, started throwing up before we hi the hi way. To greasy had to stop at store get drink to try and get greasy taste out of our mouth. Also, only reason they got a star was because it wouldn’t allow me to comment without giving a star.

We ate here for the first time other night. Had the supercharged burger it was so good, so good that we went back the next night. My husband got the chicken bites and I got the mushroom Swiss on toast. One of the best burgers I’ve ever ate. And the seasoning the the fries is yummy.
