We bellied up of course. A front row seat to expert shucking and being taken care of, this is always the feeling I’m after. Started with half a dozen Vinlands, they were elite. Clam Chowder also elite and well appointed with Westminster Bakers Co crackers which are the best oyster cracker, facts. Fries were solid. Fried Cod sandwich was fine but flavors and texture of the stack left something to be desired. Will defs go back it’s a delight and they got that good ice.

Incredible service, so attentive and did their best despite dinner rush
Very expensive and the place is pretty tiny and cramped
The raw oysters themselves are underwhelming bc they are tiny, flavorless, didnt have cocktail sauce, and $4-5 each (from cape cop)- wouldn’t recommend
Deep fried oysters- very fresh and good, but tiny portions
Cod sandwich- really good, very fresh, recommend, wish the fries also came with garlic aioli
Dirty martinis- good! Good price for them too
Chowder- delicious

Delicious oysters, Sicilian crudo, and scallop tostada! Precise yet unfussy flavors and we loved the vermouth over ice. Beautiful decor and all the servers were so nice. We walked in and we sat immediately at a high top table. Perfect spot for a date night, fast service, charming all around!

Bustling atmosphere with excellent seafood! Small storefront with Al fresco dining (those are actually the largest tables) and high top tables and bar seating inside. Amazing seafood and raw bar! We had the current oyster selections and were delighted. Their broiled oyster special was delicious so much so, we got more to end the meal! Jonah crab salad was also delicious – don’t really need the Ritz crackers even! An service was stupendous and friendly! I highly recommended dining here, and do make reservations!

Is this the best non-sushi seafood place in LA? I’ve read this a few times and after trying it for the first time, I can see why.
It’s in the heart of East Hollywood on a strip of Fountain Street with a few other notable places. It’s pretty tiny inside but there’s plenty of outdoor seating.
Prices are high but not unreasonable for seafood and LA. There’s a pretty extensive wine list and a more limited beer list. The Rose and Mas Candi white were fantastic. Especially the latter which had a crisp and smooth finish.
Everything we ordered food was fantastic except one dish. The oysters were almost $5 a pop but they were fantastic – averaged about medium size, perfectly briny, and had a good bite to them. The salt and pepper squid skewer was one of my favorite bites. It had a subtle chili salt on top and was grilled to perfection. The fried oysters were delectable. They had a light, crispy breading and were soft and briny inside.
There are plenty of creamy fish dips. We tried the cheesy artichoke brandade – wasn’t too heavy on the fish but had some body and the artichoke was so soft and creamy.
My least favorite dish was the scallop tostada. It came drenched in an overly sweet sauce and I think Thai basil. Just felt that the sauce overpowered the entire dish and it didn’t feel cohesive.
All in all a wonderful place that I’ll be coming back to.

One of our favorite restaurants in the city. The seafood is always high quality and delicious. The fries remind us of the McDonalds fries you had as a kid… crispy, fluffy inside… the best.
The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The sort of place you can tell people enjoy working.

we got 6 oysters of the pick of the day, we got 4 mussels (10/10), the lobster roll and the key lime pie dessert. wow. everything was truly incredible. the oysters were fresh, cold and the cream in the mussels was to die for. one of those bites whose flavor palette keep expanding even after you swallow- aftertaste amazing with a light light kick. lobster roll bun was amazing, the lobster itself also taste extremely fresh, well seasoned and even creamy. 4 Stars on food because the key lime pie was a bit too sour and overpowering. overall, service fast and efficient, food excellent. immediately added to my favorite spots in LA.

This place is soooo good. The server was very conscious of allergies and worked hard to accommodate. She was always there and ready. The staff in general kept the bites coming. The scallop tostado is one of the best things I’ve had. Several of the dishes were excellent. Of course, the oysters were delicious. Pleased we found this place.

Found oyster has everything: amazing food, fabulous vibes, and the nicest staff! Their menu is short & sweet, with some very high quality fresh fish dishes. I loved their lobster roll & their salad! A very small spot with limited seating, I recommend coming in a small group or alone. You have to try this restaurant!!

Overall, a wonderful experience with a great vibe that felt like a mix of East Coast charm and a London-style atmosphere.
We ordered fresh oysters, grilled blue prawns in butter, the cod sandwich with a side of fries, and the lobster roll with fries. Everything was very tasty, though slightly saltier than our preference. The portions were a bit small for the price.
While it’s definitely on the pricey side, the quality and ambiance made it enjoyable, and we would come back again.
