Stopped here for lunch and ordered the swamp donkey! Others in my party had a BLT and a chicken rice bowl. I was completely happy with my meal and so were my coworkers.

A bunch of teens on phones that probably should’ve been cleaning their bathrooms better. A fried chicken sandwich…appeared it might be good…but super Ick and rock hard around the edges. You only get a sandwich for that price you see..fries etc all extra. One and done here.

It’s got an unassuming exterior, but inside it’s cozy, with Pizza Ranch style decor, and a good grille-style menu. Coke products. Good burger and fries, with thick bacon! The Boom Boom Chicken Sandwich was amazing!

This place is a hidden gem! We were visiting Botna Bend Park in Hancock, Iowa and were looking for a place to eat in Neola, Iowa; we found “The Buck Snort”. The inside was very casual and inviting, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our kids ordered various things from the menu, but I had to go with the “Swamp Donkey”. Very tasty! I would recommend this place to anyone. One of the best burgers I have had in quite sometime. In fact, IMHO, it was better than Stella’s over in Bellevue, Neb.

Thought I ordered a grilled cheese, but got two slices of soggy bread with cold cheese in the middle. Also, asked for ranch for all of our food, received 4, husband asked for more and the lady went through our food to see what we ordered before obliging.

The food was really what is was in the mood for. I had the swamp donkey or something like that. The brisket was smoked well and the burger was juicy. The decor is a little open and bright but clean and comfortable. The employees were friendly and attentive.
