We decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day early & came to Cody’s! One of our favorites!! They didn’t disappoint. We started with a yummy Caesar salad, wine & cocktails. All were fantastic! My hubby had the Picanha steak. I had the delicious, perfectly cooked salmon & we shared the best Brussels sprouts! The food was so good & the service was top-notch!

Enjoyed my birthday celebration here with my husband and teen daughters.
It was delicious! Started with salads and milk bread… scrumptious! The compound butter served with the milk bread was perfect! So much so I took the rest home and used it in our dinner the next night. Entrées were Wellington, 2 Filet and Shrimp… it was mouth watering! We topped it off with the warm brownie and ice cream. Every ounce was polished off and not one item (save for the butter) was taken home. That’s a first!
There was some sticker shock at the end but it really was a fabulous time! We will be returning for a date night in the next few months.

My husband and I come here every once in a while and we always have a phenomenal experience. Our favorite time to visit is lunch. Not too busy, we sit at the bar and enjoy some drinks and food. We love the atmosphere, the food is delicious and the drinks are superb. Anytime we are in San Marcus, we come here. 10/10 highly recommended

Food was great but I had to check with the waiter on my drinks and sadly he forgot to put them in. Then later he once again forgot to put a side that I ordered in. It feels like a great and classy restaurant with delicious food but those slip ups really ruined the mood.

Place looked amazing. Great place for great drinks and exceptional food and great price. Lobster rolls are amazing, naked Alfredo was to dye for. Cream Bru Lea was divine , So get a table and ask for Tonya. She will make it great evening and great experience!

We had a wonderful experience at Cody’s, I had the blue cheese salad wedge and the Beef Wellington. The salad was perfect for a blue cheese lover, and I’ve always wanted to try the Beef Wellington, which delivered superb flavor and texture. The chocolate cake was very light!

My wife and I had a very good experience all around. Milk bread and Cobb salad starters were great, short ribs and angus burger were quite good for dinner and caramel chocolate cake was to die for.
Top service as well. As a business owner I pay attention to staff and this group was top notch. Aliana was our server and very friendly and timely.

What a wonderful restaurant tucked into the Southside of San Marcos near the outlet malls. Our server, Mikey, was so kind and attentive and all of our food was amazing. We started with the SHOKUPAN (JAPANESE MILK BREAD) and the bread was superb. We also enjoyed the COCONUT PANKO FRIED SHRIMP. (Please see photos of all foods mentioned in review.) For our entrees, Robert ordered the BEEF WELLINGTON and thoroughly enjoyed it. I ordered the NEW BEDFORD SEA SCALLOPS with candied bacon and jalapeños, and ya’ll, it blew me away. It was so delicious! We both ordered the Creme Brulee for dessert and it was outstanding! Robert and I truly love finding hidden gems, and Cody’s Restaurant and Patio is our new fav!!

I’ve gone to Cody’s since 2021. The service is excellent. Bartenders and waiters are informative, service-minded and demonstrate a superior kind of service that rarely exists today. I’ve tried almost every entree over the years and also love coming during happy hour for discounts on fancy small plates and the wagyu burger. After years of regular patronage, it is a privilege to consider such a high-end culinary experience a frequent part of my life. Our favorite dishes right now are the short rib, burger, mac ‘n cheese, brussels sprouts, and Cesar salad.
