Steak and cheese sub was okay. I wouldn’t suggest the Reuben. Something about the sauerkraut that they use and the sauce, The bread could be toasted more thoroughly. They weren’t able to toast the sub, and it really needed to be toasted. But it was decent and I ate it as a soggy tasty mess.

Been going here for years. Always good food. Cheeseburger sub or steak n cheese were my go to. Been a few months since my last visit. Got the chbugr sub. Totally different. Tasted like crap. Changed the brands or something. Wife said some about her sub. (Ham n cheese) just disappointed after all these years. Going downhill like everything else.

I got Reuben today after seeing somebody post one on Facebook, causing me to crave one, I just looked for the first one I saw on DoorDash and decided to try this place for the first time. I’ve been wanting to try food from this place for a while anyways, enough today I’ll be sure to stop by the store sometime and try some more subs cuz this sandwich was great. The DoorDash pricing was also very reasonable so I imagine their in store pricing is probably even better.

I called into see if there was anyway I could do a sandwich platter, same day, within 2 hours. I accepted I would have to cut my own cheese and whatnot because it’s not the same size. They exceeded expectations. Put all my condiments and toppings on the side and in a nice platter. I didn’t expect this. I’m highly satisfied and the quality has always been there. I’ve been going to this place for the past three years. I pop in a couple of times a week. I only eat a half a sub at a time so I get 4 lunches out of two whole subs.
I’ve never ever been disappointed with their food. When I order online and stop in to pick up my order they see me and hand me my order without making me wait (because there’s usually a queue).
The place could certainly do with a bit of a makeover but I guess the owner isn’t too bothered.
The food and the staff especially the short woman and bloke with glasses are fantastic (I don’t know their names but they know mine).
Here’s what I got today. One chicken salad and one tuna salad. Sorry for the condensation inside the box, I pulled it out of the fridge for a quick photo. Just look at the food! You’ll never get a sub like this from any franchise place.

The subs are pretty good, but if you ask for onions, you might want to ask for a side of sub to go with it, because they will load them on! The fries tasted like dirty fryer grease, the crab soup had little to no crab meat in it and the crackers were stale. There were only 2 people working during lunch hour which slowed things down a bit. Also, unless you are paying cash, be prepared for them to tack on extra fees for paying with a card. This place has unfortunately gone downhill over the years.

Tried to order subs for my construction crew 6 hole subs. Woman behind the counter was extremely rude and explained that we couldn’t get them because we needed a 24 hour notice. She then explained that we should just go to sheets.
Very shocking coming from a place that specializes in subs and claims to be a supporter of local business. The crew and myself will never visit them again!
