Good BBQ buffet. If you’re in the area or passing through it’s worth the stop. Wide variety of options on the buffet. Not sure I’d consider it a destination level place, IE drive 2-3 hours just to eat there.
Hash was good, fried chicken was excellent, BBQ was chunks (not shredded) and good, slaw was good and Sweet Pickles were excellent.
The peach cobbler was the best I’ve ever had at a buffet anywhere. (Peaches are in season, so maybe they were fresh?)

We were on a road trip through the area and i wanted to introduce my family to Carolina style BBQ. I read some other reviews on this place and decided to give it a try; so glad we did.
The buffet style options allowed everyone to try what they wanted and go back for their favorites. This place has friendly staffing as well. The value for your dollar means the next time we are coming through the area, we will stop in again!

Charming local BBQ diner we stopped at on our way home to Florida. The buffet looked really delicious but we chose BBQ sandwich baskets since we still had over 3 hours left to drive. The owner was gracious and made sure our grandson had a nice lunch too. Glad we stopped here.

Another of the storied Duke’s BBQ restaurants scattered about South Carolina. This was the first time I ate in at the Ridgeland location. Food was delicious and piping hot right at lunch time. Service was quite friendly and they weren’t all that busy. As usual with SC bbq for me it’s all about the hash and this location did not disappoint. Packed with that hearty Lowcountry flavor the hash here was outstanding. All the fixins were on point as well. I would highly recommend stopping for a bite to eat if passing through or you happen to be in the area. Shoot I’d even recommend taking a little drive to check it out as me and my family drove a little over an hour to get here.

The fried okra, pan fried potatoes are ás superb as you dream them of being.
The hush puppies are the absolute treasure of culinary expectations.
To go plates are good but buffet is better, you get to spend more time. Locals keep it wide open.
I consider it worth few miles drive, or stopover when travelling.

This all you can eat buffet was good. It’s $11 a person. The restaurant is a little older and certainly has an old time country vibe. The food was good but not amazing. With this place it’s about the quantity you can get for the low price! Come hungry

The restaurant had a great family atmosphere. It has an option for take out or all you can eat, with many choices, fried chicken, pulled pork, etc..
I was surprised by how cheap it was as well, the take out box is only $9. This is definitely worth a try if you’re passing by.

A “locals”, “Southern foods”, “family” sorta place. A variety of fried foods – some I’ve never seen anyplace else…corn nuggets, fried okra (FANTASTIC!), homemade potato chips, hush puppies. Stewed tomatoes, rutabagas, lima beans, cole slaw, ambrosia, collards, mac and cheese, potato salad. Yum! Pulled pork and Fried chicken. A different kind of place. Get off 95 and pull into Duke’s. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

We were on a road trip and found this restaurant right off I-95. Great little place to eat! It was very quiet, food was tasty and the prices were AMAZING. Not many places you can get an all you can eat buffet with drinks included for $15 a person (cheaper for children dependent on age). The staff were nice and the restaurant was incredibly clean. I hope we can stop here again!
