Best sub I’ve had in a long time! Ordered the d’Italia sub with chips and it was fantastic. Toasted perfectly and fresh ingredients. Even the chips were crisp and very tasty! Came during lunchtime and with a lot of orders, they were efficient! Will definitely return!

Unfortunately not what it used to be. Ordered a chicken Parm sub for lunch, got handed a premade sandwich maybe 15 seconds later. It was of course lukewarm at best and rather soggy. Beyond that, even if I had got a fresh one, the flavor is very much lacking. Super skimpy on the marinara, and what I got was pretty bland. Could have been from a jar. Chicken is also under salted and under seasoned in general. Definitely not the homemade quality that made this place a go-to for many years.

So far i have loved everything I have eaten here. Definitely get the pizza heated up.
It was nearly perfect. They don’t skimp on the sauce (which was full of flavor) or cheese, and the crust was perfect. It was fluffy and crispy on the bottom. I also enjoyed their meat lasagna which I took home and heated up. It had many layers, and is full of flavor. This is the first restaurant lasagna that I have ever loved. I also tried their Italian beef sandwich. It was spicy, juicy, and delicious.

Great little Italian deli. I’m especially partial to the sausage subs on Tuesdays, but everything I’ve had here has been awesome. You walk in and immediately smell everything that’s cooking. Service is fast and the staff are always polite.

You wouldn’t think it’d be hard to find an Italian Beef Combo in Cleveland, seeing as we’re only a few hours away, but trust me, it is. And after years of searching and trying variations of what Cleveland considers an Italian Beef, I have finally found the Holy Grail and it’s at D’Italia Foods.
The beef was phenomenal, the sausage, exceptional flavor, and the giardinera, man, I thought I was back at my local Portillo’s. This is truly the only spot I will go to for an Italian Beef, but they also had some other amazing food I’d like to try as well next time. They sold Sicilian pizza slices too, something I haven’t seen since my days back east. I highly recommend stopping at D’Italia if you’re ever in the Westlake area, you won’t regret it.

The food is fantastic!! For catering, D’Italia is wonderful!! Grandpa died February 13th. D’Italia, with less than 48 hours advance notice, did the catering! A beloved vegetarian raved about the eggplant rollettes ($3/roll)! The lasagna at $99/ full pan is amazing! The chicken in the form of cutlet, $4.00/piece, Parmesan $5.00/ piece, Marsala $5.00/piece, and Piccata $5.00/piece are incredible!! The tray of 20 mini cannolis for only $40 is marvelous! I could go on – but I won’t – visit D’Italia – I don’t think you will regret it!!

My wife and I went here for the first time since we happened to be on that side of town. We drove about 45 minutes to get there and I will happily drive here more often going forward! The BYO sub was fantastic! Lots of meat, fresh veggies, a tasty oil all on a perfect, soft, chewy sesame roll. We also got a very tasty meatball sub, and the house salad with a sweet, red wine vinegar dressing. For dessert, we tried the tiramisu and it was the best version we’ve ever had. I wish I could give them ten stars!
