I ordered a veggie and egg burrito. It looked amazing but unfortunately the eggs were burnt so I only took 2 bites of my food. The 1st bite told me there was an issue and I tried to add condiments to make it palatable but to no avail. Hubby was happy with his breakfast which was the strawberry Belgian waffle. He offered me the strawberries but I turned them down after eating one because there were underripe. The waitress came at the end with the check and a togo box for my burrito. I declined the box and told her the eggs were burnt. She apologized and offered to have my meal remade but by thst time my husband was done with his food and we were ready to go. I ultimately stopped at Chick-fil-A. The establishment is nice and clean. After reading reviews, burnt eggs seem to be common which is a big thing if youre a breakfast place. It cost us $28 for hubby to eat. Its not on our radar to return.

I ordered the Two Egg Breakfast with my eggs scrambled, I chose fresh fruit versus hash browns, and pancakes versus toast. The eggs had the brown marks meaning they were overcooked. The fruit was fresh and tasty. The pancakes were not quite right. The pancakes were cooked completely but they were not fluffy and they tasted a little dried out. I suggest they add some baking soda to make them fluffy and some vanilla to improve the flavor. I received good service. There’s a large parking lot in front of the restaurant.

Classic American breakfast well prepared and served by nice people in an enormous space (for their volume of traffic) that used to be an Old Country Buffet. We’ve made them part of our weekly breakfast rotation.

Great food, amazing service and the best family owned restaurant! This is our family go to restaurant and they never disappoint us! Very friendly and the place is so clean. The servers are so nice and the hostess is amazing! Large portions and recently they added Salads and burgers to the menu!

We love this place! It’s usually busy on Sunday (like most good breakfast places) but the service is good and we’ve never had a bad meal.
The place is clean and management is professional, hands on and takes care of their staff.
It’s definitely in out breakfast/brunch rotation 🙂

This breakfast is amazing. I was very surprised how fast it was and I was really surprised how big the portions are. I have got not one complaint about the quality of this food. This place is a home run when you want breakfast I am at a loss for words and how good this restaurant is. This is my first time ever eating here and I will be back I highly recommend everyone trying this breakfast. I am so full I couldn’t even eat it all. now I have leftovers for supper I’m so happy. I ate there this morning and it was not good it was totally different it was bland it tasted awful I’m not sure what happened but I will definitely try it again the biscuits and gravy were horrible

This place is surprisingly huge once you walk in. Tons of tables so I wonder how often there is a wait for a seat.
I’m always a sucker for places that serve breakfast all day and Golden Oak was no exception.
I love biscuits and gravy but I’m often hesitant to order them at restaurants because you never know if they bake their own biscuits or if the biscuits will be dry. I believe these are fresh and they were definitely fluffy.
Everything we ordered was standard fare but it all tasted yummy. Our waitress was very nice and kept checking on us.
It’s not super close to my house by any means, but I look forward to my next visit.

We picked the location to go with a grandchild under age 3 after church. This is a very large restaurant. Caleb and bright. The advice was overall fine but slow for 11 am on Sunday. Good was ok, my wife’s eggs were a touch overcooked. Mine were perfect. We’d return when in the area again.

Inedible slop. Food was so bad we couldn’t eat it. Corned beef hash is straight out of a can. Eggs tasted foul and were overcooked. Pancakes were flavorless rubber. And then the manager came over and talked to us like we were idiots. Charged us full price for the food we didn’t eat was extremely ride and argumentative as we were trying to be polite. $50 to leave hungry and angry. The server was sweet and should get a job at a better restaurant. I know a one star review can hurt a local business and that’s the exact reason I’m leaving it.

Interior is nice, and very spacious. Service was friendly.
Food, I would only call mediocre. Portion sizes were plentiful, and the pancakes were good. Hashbrowns could have definitely been crisper, and didn’t seem to have any seasoning. The bacon looked good, but turned out to be limp and bland. The sausage patty had a decent flavor, but was super thin and over cooked.
Other than the pancakes, the only bright spot for me was that they served coke products rather than Pepsi. Wouldn’t call it a bad experience overall, but there are definitely better spots for breakfast.
