Drift is a local, independent cafe serving premium coffee and brunch, built by people who love good coffee and food. Our team has been inspired by cafes all over the world. Founders Michael and Ben Powell grew up surfing competitively and traveling the world. Throughout these surfing adventures, a desire for coffee formed. We serve things that we enjoy consuming – items that are minimally processed, nutritious, fun and flavorful. Some of which have attachment to traditions of diverse cultures. They are made in-house from clean ingredients, prepared fresh each time you order. Our premium coffee comes from Ceremony Coffee Roasters, a specialty roaster. We use local ingredients when we can. Drift Coffee & Kitchen was such a good stop on our trip. The coffee was wonderful—smooth, rich, and exactly what we needed. The space itself is super clean, bright, and trendy, with a really welcoming vibe that makes you want to hang out for a while. You can tell they put thought into the details, from the design to the way everything is set up. It was the perfect place to take a break and recharge before getting back on the road. Grateful for the pick-me-up and definitely would stop again. Also the salted Carmel oat coconut was phenomenal!

I stopped by for a cup of coffee and got an americano. It was very good. I didn’t have a chance to eat there, but I saw that they had avocado toast on fresh bread and some other things that look like they were both healthy and delicious. It had a very nice ambience, good son and a nice little table for a workspace if you were looking for it. It seemed like it was an odd location at first, and I second-guess if I was in the right spot, but it’s actually a very nice area.

Delicious coffee and delicious food! I ordered a pistachio latte that didn’t really tasted like pistachios but it was still yummy. The place is aesthetically appealing. We stopped by after church at Port City and it is literally 4 minutes away. The staff was friendly. Will definitely come again and will try a different latte.

Very charming little place that leans in to the beach vibe but has a modern twist. You can tell by the latte that they care about roast and the staff is friendly and attentive.
The brekkies are absolutely delicious and a hearty portion. This is an absolutely underrated alternative to downtown for brunch!

This is a special little place for my husband and I as we would stop here after my breast cancer treatments/surgeries by the hospital. I love the vibe in here from the decor, the awesome workers and most importantly, the food and drinks. Every single item purchased here was always well executed in taste and plating. This is a cute little coffee and sandwich shop if you’re in the area. It’s a tad pricey compared to something you might find in midtown, but commensurate with its area. Their open faced avocado toast breakfast seems to be a hit with guests I’ve met there. It’s not a super roomy space but they do seem to be open to those who want to work while they snack. I recommend this spot for small, informal meets or a quick solo bite.

The food was amazing! We travel a lot and we try different banana breads at various coffee shops. And I dare say, this place has the best one! We are vegetarian and I was very skeptical of finding good food. But I am really happy we stopped by. They have only a couple of vegetarian options but they are very very good. Enjoyed the avacado toast!
