I had an exceptional dining experience at La Rôtisserie. I ordered the egg yolk pasta, the venison stew prepared in a traditional style with kidneys, and the coconut dessert, paired with a beautifully balanced Moscato wine. Every dish was outstanding—the pasta was rich and perfectly executed, the venison deeply flavorful and comforting in a classic, rustic way, and the coconut dessert was elegant and memorable without being overly sweet. Do note, they charge for tap water.
Beyond the food, the setting is spectacular. The view of the river is absolutely incredible and adds to the sense that this is a special place meant to be savored slowly. Combined with attentive, professional service, the entire meal felt refined yet welcoming. A memorable experience and a restaurant I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Zurich.

One of the best dinners in Zurich Michelin one star overlooking the lake of Zurich and I can possibly say this place has the best züri geschnetzeltes which is the classic swiss dish! Definitely must try
The staff are very nice and attentive and another thing I like about this place is that they offer an option of both that menu à la carte menu which is good for people who don’t really wanna set menu! Wine corkage is 50 chf Which is very fair if you want to bring your own bottle!
Probably the best restaurant in zurich!

One of the best dining experiences we’ve had to date! You can’t expect anything less from a Michelin star restaurant. Dined here on my birthday and didn’t even think about overindulging! From amuse-bouches to dessert, we were stunned. We explored the menu and still cannot stop thinking about some of our favorite dishes. The best tuna tartar I’ve ever had, mouth watering buttered raviolis, to the most delicious Japanese A5 wagyu slices. Highly recommend to anyone stopping through Zurich! Fine dining at its finest!

The food was OK but nothing special, so totally overrated. You can eat much better in Zürich. But the service was great. regarding the atmosphere, it’s really very old fashion style… we were definitely the youngest couple there. There was no music and not really a nice vibe. we had each three plates and one glass of wine and paint Fr.450.

Excellent place! Food is as you would expect in Michelin rated restaurant, flavorful and unique and presentation is also memorable. Service is wonderful, very polite and attentive. I particularly enjoyed all the little compliments before the food I ordered. Also the place is beautiful, overlooking the water and with huge windows it is easy to enjoy the view. Highly recommend.

Good vibes, staff was so friendly and welcoming! Everything was up to standard and we ordered ravioli twice as they were absolutely out of this world. We tried another Michelin restaurant in Zurich but I’d come back here.

One of my happiest moments in zürich! The view was absolutely breathtaking. The service was so heartwarming. The mocktails were the tastiest drinks I’ve ever had in my life. The food was great each plate was a masterpiece that I couldn’t wait to ruin and devour. We were limited with our order due to not eating pork so we all had the fish it was really delicious. My dad complained about the portions, he wasn’t full after the meal so for those with a big appetite eat a snack before or after the meal. The complimentary dessert with the receipt was really cute!

La Rotisserie restaurant is a trap, not a Michelin star – because culinary technique isn’t everything, because the appearance of the food isn’t enough, and because the decor, the ambiance, the view, and the delicate tableware, despite being excellent, fade when, in fact, the food has no flavor whatsoever and when the staff are pretentious and arrogant, some even revealing inexperience, which becomes intolerable in a restaurant with the advertised level.
What a resounding disappointment. Moreover, it’s bizarre to be in a restaurant with the perfect entourage, eating something with a wonderful appearance and perfect texture but absolutely no flavor.
The Bouillabaisse isn’t deconstructed but rather a complete murder of a delicious dish because it’s so poorly prepared that you can’t even distinguish the taste of the fish floating in a sauce that tasted like iodine tincture.
The Australian Wagyu literally tasted like straw, such was the complete absence of flavor.
A fiasco.
The feeling we got was that the chef sat back in the shadow of the star and stopped caring about the customers’ pleasure.
Does he even taste the food he serves?
And those who say the food is delicious, have they ever eaten delicious food in their lives? I know Zurich very well and many restaurants in this city. This was definitely the worst gastronomic experience I’ve had in years in this city, also famous for its good food. Therefore, at La Rotisserie, for what you eat (quantity and quality), the prices are pornographically high, even by Zurich standards. Considering that we decided to stay at the Storchen (a hotel we recommend) to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and the level of expectation we had for La Rotisserie, based on reviews and awards, it feels like the restaurant where we dined is not the same as what we see described in the reviews we read.
For us, the restaurant proved to be a terrible experience and a place we will not return to.
We will definitely stay at Stōrchen again, but we will never eat at La Rotisserie again, which is nothing more than a prize-winning tourist trap.

Disappointing experience.
We were charged for hot water, which is very unusual in Switzerland. When I asked for it to be removed, the explanation given by staff made little sense and felt dismissive.
The salad was also an issue: berries were listed as part of the salad on the menu, but the dish arrived with broccoli instead, and berries were charged separately.
Service overall was poor, and the tea offering was basic teabags only — not what you expect at these prices.
For an upscale restaurant, the service and transparency were below expectations. I would not return.

Exceptional experience. I was greeted with a complimentary dish from the chef. (I apologize, as I do not remember the name of the dish. Only that it was delicious). The warm bread they bring to the table is so soft in the inside with a nice crust in the outside. And the two butters they bring are amazing; one being a fruity infusion that was a really nice treat to go with every bite. The chef then gifted us with a couple of different macaroons that were so uniquely flavored that you have to experience to really appreciate. For my starter I had the pulled crab and Gillardeau oyster. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavor was next level. So much going on in every bite with the crab, and the oyster was a mouth full of such a unique blend of ingredients that made your eyes roll. Both were incredibly fresh. My friend had the veil shank ravioli, and made me quite jealous, actually, because of how absolutely delicious it was. The sauce was so savory and buttery. The one bite I had was an absolute tease. I had the A5 Kagoshima waygu for my entree, and words can’t describe how amazing it was. The sauce that was drizzled over it was so decadent and savory and paired so well with the tender buttery meat. Every bite was heaven. I had a sorbet dessert combination that was a blend of citrus flavors that just exploded with flavor, and shocked you pallet after all of the savory dishes during the meal. Not overly sweet, and the perfect portion to end a perfect meal. A well deserved Michelin Star. The servo was exceptional, and the ambiance was such a great setting for such a meal. I was sat right by the window overlooking the city. I can’t recommend this place enough.
