I have been going to this Jersey MIke’s location for 4 years now. The manager and his employees are always so friendly when entering the store. I have never had an order that has been wrong. Great Service Great People.

I LOVE sandwiches. I make a mean sub myself. So, I’m a critic and have high expectations when i actially purchase one. Your TV commercials are effective in portraying your product, in a mouth watering, you’ve got to try this sort of way. I wanted to but no store in my neighborhood. So, we were elated when your opening soon signage went up in the Campcreek marketplace, East Point GA 30331 area. We patiently waited. I couldn’t wait to order the BMT version as I recalled Danny D commercial sub, brautiful! Fresh, fluffy meats, piled high, fresh veggies, fresh bread….. . So, I was there week 2 of the grand opening! I even teased with your lovely team of my expectations. If my expectations were met, I’d return, if not they’d never see me again. They haven’t seen me since.
1. Pricey. I didn’t expect to pay $30+ for 2 12 inch subs only. I originally wanted 2 6 in but the bread didn’t appear to be 6in, more like 4in. So, I went 12in.
2. Build. Nothing special or impressive. The bun was too small in width, contents crammed, not beautiful. I chose several vegs, oil, vinegar, salt pepper it was hefty.
3. Taste and ease to consume. The taste was just good. Eating it was messy and that’s because the bun was open on both sides, spillage. Subs should be one side closed to prevent this, right?
So, not a great first impression. Perhaps my expectations were too high? Perhaps I shouldn’t have taken the commercials as literal depictions? Is it unreasonable to expect that what I see is what I get?
Thanks for listening.

I have been eating at this location for about 1 moth 1/2. I go here for lunch. I ordered and portobello mushroom sandwich. I go to my car and parked at a quiet spot close by within 10 mins of eating my sandwich I start to swallow my food after I start chewing and and choked on a foreign substance like a piece of straw wood type sharp piece, like from those woven wicker basket material. It got lodged in my throat. I was choking and tried repeatedly to get it from unstuck in my throat. I tried coughing it out. I finally got most of it out and the rest of the piece I swallowed and it cut/scraped my throat.

I immediately went back to the restaurant to show the food preparer and manager this foreign piece of wood like straw material and told them what happened. No empathy. No IAM sorry ma’am. They just stood there and debated with me. manager responded, “What do you want me to do about it?

I explained to them( Mind you my throat is cut and scratched internally)while I have to try and convince them of what happened. The female manager, Kenny said its a banana pepper stem. All she was doing was gaslighting me telling me she could show me the same thing. What she brought me was the end of a pepper with an imaginary stem. Like bringing me an apple and telling me its an orange.

Because I AM not familiar with the are I asked her did she know of an emergency hospital nearby because I needed to go to the dr. I AM a professional singer and my voice has been affected.

If you are saying this is a stem which it is not, then what is the name of the company you use who you purchase them from. The food preparer guy said, they’r not going to do anything you are wasting your time and then he started to be condescending saying, have a great weekend and summer.

I went to Emory hospital and three nurses plus dr said it was wood/straw like object from a basket. They did a ct scan and gave me lidocol to gargle with to numb my throat and prescription to take it and gargle. I am worried about my throat. Imagine if a child or a senior citizen had this happen to them.

This is not over. I am contacting corporate and I video recorded the incident when I went back there so I have evidence of how I was treated. I have a lawyer and I AM reporting this to the Shaderoom and whatever news and media outlet.

Also will be meeting with the manager higher up over the female manager Kenny. Not once did they apologize. I found the company Gielow pickles I believe are their vendors they use for banana peppers and left a message on their voice mail. This isnt over. What if I couldnt get this out of my throat.

Then she tried to ask for the bag back after the incident so she could get rid of the evidence. The nerve of her.

I often come to this location and I’ve given great reviews for service, however they have brought a new worker into the establishment that has changed all of this, unfortunately. The woman has a circle earring in her nose, wears glasses, and she’s older. She took our order, but it was very clear that she didn’t want to be there. She was incredibly mean, rude, and dismissive the entire time we planed our order. I’ve never encountered such treatment! She then went to the cook, and spoke loudly as she complained about customers! She is truly the reason for my review because I want others to be weary of this potential treatment if visiting this establishment. It was so bad that I’m actually considering contacting the franchise owner regarding her treatment.

The only people that know how to make the sandwiches at this location are the assistant manager lady with glasses and the two black gentleman that work at night! Service is terrible!! Food gave me food poisoning! Staff are not being mindful of the glove changing, they are cross contaminating meats. Handling pork meat and all other meats with the same gloves on
Every customer doesn’t eat pork.
I will never eat from jersey Mike’s again especially not this location, they give jersey Mike’s a bad name.

Extremely Disappointing Experience

I recently encountered a highly disappointing situation at Jersey Mike’s. Despite arriving 11 minutes before their posted closing time of 9pm, the doors were already locked. I knocked persistently, but the staff completely ignored us, leaving us standing there for about three minutes.

This lack of consideration and customer service is unacceptable. The two staff members saw us, ignored our attempts to get their attention, and continued with their tasks. This isn’t an isolated incident; it’s the second time I’ve faced such a situation at Jersey Mike’s.

To add to the frustration, calling the restaurant yielded no response. It’s disheartening to think that closing early and disregarding customers might be an accepted standard procedure. This experience has left me questioning the reliability and professionalism of Jersey Mike’s.
