I had a good first visit here on a whim. Stopped in for lunch as I was craving some pho. Service was very friendly and efficient. The place started to get rather busy for the lunch rush, but that didn’t deter the staff from being polite. The menu is pretty expansive with a lot of variety for pho as well as other dishes. I got the beef pho and thoroughly enjoyed it. The broth was tasty, not too salty, and came out hot. Pricing seemed about right too. Would definitely return.

We got the Gỏi Cuốn and Bò Lụi as our appetizers which were really goôd! We also got Phở Gầu and Phở Việt’s Satế for our main dishes. The phở was really good but if you have the cilantro soap gene you may want to ask for it without cilantro, my boyfriend has it and he said it was kinda hard to work around since it soaked into the broth. The mango bubble tea was okay a little soapy tasting but the strawberry smoothie was really good. The workers were really nice and it was overall a nice restaurant!!

My fiancé and I visited Pho Viet in Newington for dinner, which was the first Vietnamese meal we had eaten in a while. The whole menu looked great and had a bunch of authentic options. For appetizers, we were really impressed by the flavorful chicken teriyaki skewers, and the fresh garden rolls were great too. We were very happy with our pho and rice noodles with grilled beef. Every dish used really fresh ingredients, and we noticed that the prices were very reasonable too. It was nice that they had bubble tea and smoothies available to have with our meal as well! We would definitely come back for their authentic food, quick service, and bright & inviting dining space!

I am writing to share my recent disappointing experience at Pho Viet. Upon ordering two B7 entrées and an appetizer, we received incorrect meals. Our waiter, “Hi,” acknowledged the error, apologized, and offered to remake our order. We accepted this offer. He said it was due to him pressing an incorrect key in the computer system. Fine..

Later, when we confirmed we were waiting for the corrected entrées, the waiter informed us that he never put them in, I tried to cancel with him once I discovered that the kitchen wasn’t making the meal. He apologized again and stated that the entire meal would be “on the house.” We reluctantly accepted this generous offer and waited for the correct food.

After we finished the corrected entrées, a different waiter presented us with a bill charging us for the two full meals, stating only the appetizer was complimentary. I feel this was done on purpose because the first waiter never showed up until I asked for him again. While I would have been happy to pay for the correct order if that was what we agreed to, this directly contradicted the first waiter’s promise that the entire meal would be ” on the house”.

This sequence of poor communication—incorrect order, promise of a complimentary meal, and subsequent charge—was deeply frustrating. I believe this reflects a severe lack of communication and coordination among the staff.

I wanted to bring this to anyone wanting to dine here as the consistently poor service and communication completely ruined our dining experience. We were not looking for a free meal but this whole process took over an hour and a half.

I love the pho here but these garden spring rolls are not what I remember them being… They are FILLED with mostly cabbage and barely any noodles or meat. I had to take out most of the cabbage because it was so overwhelming. I remember when they used to put mint leaves and cucumbers in them. Disappointed by these, they used to be one of my faves.

It appears that Pho’ Viet made a comeback. I’ve been a patron since they opened around a decade ago, and now with new Management, it’s exactly the same with a slightly different flare. The young folks running this place are a step above, and highly professional.
I stopped in for an Appetizer and some Pho’, and settled on a beef stew I had never ordered. Rich and meaty with the perfect blend of veggies and thick hearty broth/gravy.
I’m surely headed back on my next time through Fenn Rd Plaza…. see y’all there!!

I took a friend of mine here for lunch, and they had never had Pho before, so we checked for one around the area we were. This Pho Viet was the closest. They had a lot of choices on the menu. Some they can make without pork some they can not. I always call to ask if pork is in every broth, just in case. The spring rolls was good, the Chicken skewer was really good, the wings was ok, the Pho we add vegetables and I wish we didn’t it messed up the Pho with the frozen type vegetables they put in it, the carrots was hard and still taste alil cold. I wish they used fresh vegetables instead of dumping, you know, the frozen bag with carrots, broccoli, and coliflour that ruined the Pho but over all the food wasn’t bad.

I had the BEST SOUP EVER at Pho. I had the vegetarian soup. Loaded with fresh vegetables and the broth was just what I needed. Thank you. I’ll be sure to visit soon and often during these upcoming cold months. God bless

It’s been a 5 or so years since I’ve visited here, It was not busy inside and it smelled wonderful. The pho broth was delicious and warm. The garden rolls cracked before I made it home, they were surprisingly dry and the shrimp inside were discolored and chewy.
