I actually really like this restaurant. The atmosphere is Fun. The service is almost always quick even when they’re short staffed. And the food tastes fantastic! We got the lean machine role, and it’s delicious. It’s definitely the best sushi place in Rexburg.

My husband and I come here all the time and we LOVE it!! and it takes like less than five minutes after ordering to get our food. It always taste so great and the staff is always on it. Our favorite roll right now is the lean machine roll it’s a special right now. Best sushi I have had in Rexburg!

I am writing this review only after eating here twice in my life, but both experiences have been tasty and memorable! The service here is fantastic–the waiters/waitresses are so respectful and kind. The place was clean and the noise level was quiet, but comfortable. The Chinese decorations were fun. I was expecting a longer wait for our food, but they had it ready on our table in less than ten minutes! We ordered the Yellowstone and California Roll, and they were both so delicious. Prices are amazing for the quality. I really enjoyed eating out here. Thank you, Red 8!

I love this place! The food is delicious and they have a lot of options. Maybe too many options if you are indecisive. The sushi is good but I usually get the dinner plates and they have tons of food and it is all good. I have tried the Mongolian beef and the orange chicken. They were both delicious. The other one I had was the sesame chicken and it was good too but the Mongolian beef was my favorite by far. It reminds me of like a pepper steak. Also it can get crowded and so you might have a wait but usually not a long one. I have only ever had to wait like 5 minutes max.

Our meal consisted of orange chicken, Mongolian beef, and California roll. Our server, a young man with a friendly demeanor, provided excellent service.
Each dish was delectable, particularly the salad dressing, which was of exceptional quality. The prices were reasonable, with our total bill amounting to $41.
We highly recommend this establishment and plan to return in the future.

We were really impressed with red 8! The service was quick and very friendly. The atmosphere was perfect even though it wasn’t too busy of a night. We loved the portion sizes! The food was flavorful, nothing too ground breaking but, it was fantastic for rexburg standards! Pricing was also very reasonable! We look forward to coming back again.

My husband and I came here a few times because they have a great selection of sushi at good pricing. I love the Shrimp Lover Roll and Red8 Roll! I love shrimp and cream cheese in sushi, so those were the best ones I’ve tried.
One of the times when I ordered the sushi, the tempura shrimp was still warm. Oh my goodness, you have no idea how good that tasted!!! I wish every time I get freshly cooked shrimp that is still warm in my sushi now 🙂
Anyways, the first time we came, we had the normal entrees. They weren’t great at all (fried rice was bland, the food didn’t taste authentic) but gladly the sushi we tried was good enough to motivate us to return. Turns out it is worth it to keep coming back for their sushi!

This facility is the cleanest, best run Asian restaurant I’ve been to in Idaho. From the tables, to the cooking stations, to the bathrooms are spotlessly clean and organized. The food portions are really large and filling, and are reasonably priced. The taste of the food is very salt and sugar heavy, with little to no veggies or citrus to lighten the flavor. I had the Pad Thai with shrimp, and it came with a salad and fried rice. I wasn’t a huge fan of the salad, the fried rice was delicious, and the Pad Thai was in need of traditional lime, cilantro, and Thai basil. Husband got the orange chicken, and chose the egg drop soup. The soup was thick and comforting, and the chicken was pretty good. We also had gyoza appetizers (deep fried and flavorful), and a sushi roll each. Not the best sushi I e tried here in Idaho, but not inedible. A good place to stop by once in a while.

I have eaten at red 8 multiple times for what we like the order the food is super good. The first time we ordered the orange chicken the plate was super full. It has become less full over time but we still enjoy it.
The sushi is always pretty good and not too expensive.
