What a way to finish Black Friday shopping I have to tell you. The comfortable vibes, great views of the snow falling while we enjoyed perfectly seasoned truffle fries, chowder with a great texture and flavor, and fish and chips(get the sweet potato fries, you won’t regret it), and salmon that was very fresh and flavorful, it was hard to say no to dessert but we were just so full. And the drinks… my apple cider margarita was so perfectly balanced it tasted just like juice, but trust me, it had a punch.Haha. I loved it so much here, that’s its such a shame they are doing an envelope program that they hand each table an envelope with a prize in it that you have to open in the month of January in front of your server in order to win it, which means I’ll have to go back. thank you for this amazing experience! ❤️

The women bartender was overwhelmed. The pizza was really good and I am a hard judge. Although it came out like warm, it was delicious. Gyro was good but the wrap was tuff, but the chicken was very good and sauce was great as well. There was plenty chicken in the wrap. Too much wrap. Oh don’t put spinach on your pizza as there was hardly any.

I ate here last night, we were passing through on our way to Vermont and just loved this place! Great ambiance, delicious cocktails, and amazing entrees. I also loved the historic and quaint Main Street. What a treat passing through this place- highly recommend!!

Stopped here for lunch as we just took a drive and ended up in Deerfield Inn. We ate outside on patio as a beautiful day. Service a bit slow at first but got better. Sandwiches were great we really enjoyed the overall atmosphere of this place. We then toured some rooms at the Inn and loved the suite at the carriage house. Pricey for being out there but Treehouse brewery was close by to save the afternoon . Nice drive to take and a great place to stop for lunch or dinner.

They serve an interesting rendition of clam chowder that has a lot of celery and is a little bit sour. The short rib seems to be one of their signature dishes and it was so tender that you can cut it with a fork. They also had a good selection of wines by the glass. Highly recommended.

Stopped by to have lunch on the way back in a rainy day. Walked in and the place was fairly quiet since just a few tables were occupied. The service was exceptional and caught some attentions. Learned some local culture and the tradecraft on certain occupation.

Came here to celebrate a birthday and left severely disappointed. 1 star for food because not only did it take nearly an hour to even receive our entrees, which we received to go due to the long wait, but they also weren’t correct. Attached is a picture of a pizza we ordered. A pizza that was supposed to have mushrooms, RAW onions, spinach, pepperoni, and hamburger. Not only was there no spinach or protein on it, the pizza was haphazardly thrown into the Togo box. The bowl of chowder was seemingly the same size as the cup that we did happen to receive and eat at the restaurant. 3 stars for service because our server was good but there was a lack of forgiveness from the establishment overall about the situation. My son, whose birthday we were celebrating, had to leave early due to his son being out past his bedtime & later than anticipated. When arriving for a 7:15 reservation with a party of 6, one can expect some wait but leaving at 8:45 after JUST receiving our food in to go boxes is unacceptable. We did receive a discount on the food we waited for then returned home to find the entrees in less than stellar shape. Not the birthday celebration we were hoping for.

The margarita flight with 3 margaritas set the dinner off. My husband and I shared it. Drinks were strong and tasty.

I had the clam chowder which was a nice size bowl of clam chowder. It had a slightly tart taste which surprised me for clam chowder. It had plenty of clams and potatoes for a dinner. My husband got the Beef Short Ribs and it came with mashed potatoes and zucchini and shredded carrots – flavorful, moist, and delicious. The Bailey’s Affogato dessert was a stand out. It came with a shot of Bailey’s Irish Cream, scoop of vanilla ice cream, and a shot of espresso. My husband violated the affogatos rules and enjoyed each part separately. Our waiter was Jonah S, and he was personable and we enjoyed talking with him.

Good and atmosphere is awesome. Love this place. Now they say rooms #151 & #153 are haunted, I dunno. Next time I’ll stay there and find out if myself

Historic Deerfield and the inn are beautiful. You may expecting the same from Champney’s Tavern, but you would be wrong. It’s inexplicably carpeted, and there are televisions. I think this place could be a really stellar restaurant if they took some time to re-envision what a tavern in the middle of ritzy Historic Deerfield should probably look and feel like. Hint: wood floors and no TVs! It feels like the 1980s. The Indian Pudding is remarkable, though.
