As I am a former barista that worked at Starbucks 25 years ago and used physical espresso bars, I have been waiting 25 minutes for my espresso drinks. This is a joke. I know they shut down another Starbucks on the other side of Highway 49. I’m about to ask for my food for my drinks for free because you have eight people working behind the bar and three of them are just standing around. I understand that your bar is down, but maybe you should actually put a sign on the door that says that.

Okay hear me out… I know this is a busy Starbucks, especially being in such a consistently busy shopping center. And hey maybe I just go in at a really busy time? Definitely possible! But this specific Starbucks location is definitely the slowest and the most inconsistent Starbucks in the whole Auburn area, by far! I’m not even sure that it’s the employee’s fault at all. I think it’s possibly just a turnover issue cause I see a lot of different people in there, but it is pretty bad on a regular basis unfortunately. If I order from the app nine times out of 10 I will go in there and my stuff will not be ready and I will have to wait at least 5 to 10 minutes after already ordering on the mobile app and giving it the correct amount of time that the app suggested before going in. Kinda defeats the purpose a little bit if I can’t quickly stop in and go. The employees are all wonderful though, but it does seem like maybe they’re either chronically shortstaffed or just have a lot of turnover and are just training new people constantly.

Just waited 17 minutes in the drive through- for the third day in a row. I always avoided this place but now that they’ve closed the good Starbucks across the street, this is the only option. Pro tip: fly to Columbia, start a farm, grow beans, roast them, and make your own coffee. It’ll be faster.
Keeping a tally of their screw ups over the last week I’ve been moving and have had to rely on this location. 100% of orders have problems. spread between extremely long waits not due to traffic but due to incompetence, wrong orders, or totally missing items.

so i want to like this starbucks. i am simply a giy who orders black coffee,but i have really come to see that starbucks isnt for the common working dude like me? i came in for black coffee because the DT line was too long,surely they can just poor it from the machine? after waiting 10 minutea for something they could have just poored immediately,i tried mentioning it to bring it to their attention so i could get to work. they ended up making me wait another 7-8 minutes to where i simply had to leave without the coffee i purchases so i wouldn’t be late to work.i can just go to the gas station,pay 2 bucks less for the same size,and not wait for black coffee. it seems this starbucks is all about sugar bomb lates,and not simple coffee and simple people ordering it.

Came here for a mobile order. Waiting about 15 min and it never came out. I prefer to wait a little when there is only 3 people working. After the 15 min I went up and asked about it. She didn’t find anything back there so she made my drink right then. It was delicious.

It is unacceptable to have people wait in the driver thru line for 50 minutes. I understand if you are short staffed but be more organized. If you are going to have people wait that long then have them move around to the front like other fast food restaurants do. But keeping people trapped in the drive thur for that long is just unacceptable.

Super nice store. Next to a busy highway, it has a steadily busy drive through window. There are only three or four staff, but they are cheery and right on top of everything. The interiors is lovely and clean. Outside there is some seating but it is a 100 degrees today so I’m inside. There is a huge amount of space in the middle. Front the some ceiling lights I can tell there used to be a community table. I miss that There are also not “cozy chairs”. However, there are high top and regular tables, some with a bench seating option that are enough and in good shape.
Love the pride colors showing up in so many places here. Make this location even more welcoming and fun.
Tried the new pineapple passionfruit drink. Liked it. Needs a bit more pineapple and less water, but will try it again, I’m sure.

Parking lot near the store is pretty small. I like the added personalized decor reflective of the store. Staff was friendly. Drive-Thru line was long. Ordering inside & getting what I ordered didn’t take too long.

The customer service has been working terrific i appreciate the starbucks baristq doing a hard working on their service to the customer i will be coming to that starbucks more and more the exception with service has made me happy especially when you get you drink or snack in your hand
