Visited noodle house for the 1st time and I was pleasantly surprised by the flavorful dishes. We ordered 4 dishes and had it family style.
Their individual plates for eating in resembled a small desert plate – would have been great if it was larger.
Mapotofu – loved it – great fast and balance of heat
Mixed chicken noodles with vegetables- small mic of vegetables & meat but very flavorful.
Crispy fish fillet was great
Mongolian beef was more like Mongolian onion as the beef was next to missing.
Will visit again and try other dishes.

The place is very conveniently located and easy to find. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is decent, I ordered the spicy oil noodles and pork with scallion pan fried dumplings, the noodles had an excellent texture but the flavor was a little strange. They have a Chinese ingredient that numbs your tongue and it has a very strong taste to it. The pan fried dumplings were very greasy it was difficult to enjoy the flavor. We also ordered beef fried rice that was very flavorful and for dessert we got the steamed creamy custard bao, it was so good and prepared so cute shaped like a bunny. Overall we had a good experience.

This place is super authentic! The food is excellent, made to order, so fresh & very, very reasonably priced. You can see into the kitchen which is a nice touch – it’s refreshing to know that a place is organized and clean. The chef is in a chef’s jacket (is that the right word – forgive me if I’m wrong, insert correct word if so) and the server is probably a family member. Super polite, very attentive & informative on the menu. The menu is clearly defined and, as I said, the prices are very good. The whole Peking Duck is only $49.95 – looks to be a huge meal at a phenomenal price. I had the scallion pancakes that were on point – perfectly crisp and thin – not greasy and made when I ordered. The Tonkotsu Ramen (I got beef) was so good. The broth was rich and creamy. The noodles are hand-pulled. It was full of all the good stuff – boiled egg, thinly sliced, tender beef, mushrooms of several varieties (my fav) scallions, veggies – so good! It was a HUGE bowl – I couldn’t stop myself from eating all the pancakes, so I took home two lunches worth of Ramen. Gonna enjoy lunch this week!

This restaurant should be ASHAMED. I eat Pho & Ramen regularly. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen and was deeply disappointed. They do not put pork belly in theirs like in the picture on the menu or pictures posted. If you ran out just say so but dont put chunks of meat in there and say its pork belly! The Ajitsuke(jammy egg) looked old and moldy. It had a greenish tint. This was nasty and salty. Do yall even use bones to make your broth? It didn’t have any depth. My friend didnt like his either he only ate because he didn’t eat all day. I love they pull their noodles but other than that they can not make soup.

Super yummy food: would love to come back!
If you’re in Cypresswood and want real Chinese food, then this is the place! Everything was fantastic! Personally, their bao, dumplings and noodles are where it’s at. Their soup dumplings, steamed chicken dumplings, pan fried pork scallion dumplings, duck bao, hot oil spill noodles and spicy beef noodle soup are all great! The red bean bao are also adorable. They also have fried rice dishes, General Tso’s chicken, etc for those who prefer Chinese American.

My absolute favorite Chinese restaurant! Im a pescatarian and it’s been hard to find Chinese places that don’t have dumplings are already mixed with meat and they do!They seriously have the best crab soup dumplings and I have yet to find a spot that serves Xiao Long Bao Soup Dumplings just like they do here. And let me tell you, their cucumber salad is the best I’ve ever had! The sauce is to die for. I highly recommend the black garlic tonkotsu ramen and the oil spill noodles. Trust me, you won’t regret it! Their second location on 242 closed down and I was bummed, but I’m so glad they’re still open off of Kuykendahl. Please go check this place out. You’ll absolutely love it!
