After reading some of the reviews I need to make it clear that I base mine off my experience today.
First, it’s a smoothie joint in a plaza. If you’re looking for 5 star dining, this ain’t the place for you. If you looking for good acai, smoothies and stuff, definitely check them out. We arrived and there were 2 employees. One handling orders that were to go and coming in for pick up and the other young lady behind the register. We asked questions, she gave answers and they were both extremely polite and helpful. Real positive feeling from the staff.
The joint was clean. I watched them work and clean up after themselves making sure to handle all food properly and to make it easier for them to clean up as they went.
I ordered an açai bowl with little granola and some banana it was really good. And I ordered a peanut butter protein bowl thing. To be honest I can’t remember the name but I remember the taste. It was extremely good. Greek yogurt, peanut butter, bananas, granola, chai and all freshly made.
The service is quick, the employees are great, the bowls were delicious. Truthfully, I couldn’t ask for more.

All in all, I was very pleased with my experience at this Tropical Smoothie Cafe location. Great customer service, great atmosphere. It’s what you would usually find at a tropical smoothie café, very chill.

My first visit went really well, which is why I decided to go back for a second time unfortunately, it’ll also be my last. My Peanut Paradise smoothie tasted like ice water and had almost no flavor. It looked more like a cup of crushed ice than a smoothie. Really disappointing after such a good first experience. I tried to finish it but ended up throwing it away.

While the food is good, the service is incredibly lacking.
For example, once when i ordered a delivery of two wraps and a flatbread, only the two wraps arrived, and without the special request that we placed (no tomato). When I called them, I was told ‘I’ll make a new one for you’ but it never came. I had to dispute that part of the charge with my bank to get it resolved.
Now, I tried to place an order on thier app 20 minutes ago, with the earliest delivery time not until tomorrow…..with 75 minutes left before closing….what? I much prefer the Cagan Crossings location, but the app will only let me order from this specific one.

These smoothies are delicious and made with real fruit. They only come in one size for adults (24 oz) and for kids (12 oz) but they are more than enough to enjoy and there are lots of options for fruit, veggies or blends. There are also great food options with fresh ingredients for all day breakfast like the cali breakfast flatbread or their thai chicken for lunch and dinner. I’ve been very happy with my food or smoothie options.

It was my first time in this location . Usually I love tropical cafe, but this location was a desaster. The attendant was preparing an avacolada in front of me. She put a completely black avocado in the mixer. When I saw it I told her to throw that away and put a fresh one in. She did with no gusto , and yet the avocado was a little better but not as fresh as it should. I also ordered a chicken bacon ranch flat bread one for me and one for my wife that was waiting in the car as we were just passing by Davenport in our way to Melbourne. My wife and I had the same experience with the flat breads. Tasteless and the chicken looked uncooked. The avacolada my wife got had a terrible taste like the vegetables in it were old. She drunk only a little and left the rest. I took a zip and confirmed what she told me. It was horrible, after a few minutes we started to experience stomach ache. At this point we were to far on the road to come back to complain. I go often to Tropical cafe close to my house in Odessa. This Davenport location was a desaster. Nothing healthy there . Old and rotten food.

Madison was awesome! She was super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out just right. Great energy, fast service, and a really positive vibe overall. Definitely one of the best Tropical Smoothie visits I’ve had — thank you, Madison!

Had the wonderful time to witness one of the employees argue back and forth with a door-dash driver about a customer who walked into the kitchen and grabbed bacon off of the serving tray with her bare hands and walked right back out. Not sure if the lady who was talking to the dasher was the manager of this location but just alone from that entire interaction there is no good customer service here lol. We weren’t asked if we needed any help or if we were helped yet, they just thought we were just “standing there” ???? Literally this location is ran by teenagers. I give props to the only two people who apologized about the wait. Other than that, you’re better off going to a different location :/

So this particular location is by far my least favorite for two reasons. One employees are young ( love me some Sarah)night crew way better, and 2 they never have my Monsoon (passion fruit and or guava) mind you we spend well over 130 a week faithfully, just this location is the closest to home but can’t wait to move just to get what I want. Everywhere else always has it.
