My daughter and I just went there today, only two people working there doing everything. I can’t even imagine how stressed they were but the lady who took my order, was probably the manager, she was so nice to me. I told her I was so excited I found a Long John Silvers in my area. I haven’t had hush puppies since I was 16.That they are a big thing back in Colorado. She said oh really? I will make everything fresh for you. The guy said when we left thank you for coming.

I came here after visiting the emergency room at the va hospital before driving back to worcester on 12/20/2025. There was a car parked in the white lined area between the 2 handicap spaces causing it to be difficult for me to get out of my car and into my wheelchair. He also had a young kid around 10 sleeping in the car. My wife and I asked other customers if the car belonged to them and they all said no. Come to find out the car belonged to an employee who was working at the time. He was very belligerent about it. His car was actually blocking the wheelchair ramp i needed to use to get on the sidewalk to go in. This was very upsetting that he not only did this but also that he couldn’t have cared less that he caused this to be difficult on me.

Yuck. Front counter very confused over a basic order. Broken seats, loud bad music, dirty floors, horribly dirty bathroom. Food hot and fresh bit so low quality it was not edible. Obviously taco bell is the priority and long johns is just an afterthought.

Visited on February 22nd. I was surprised to see a Long John Silver’s, as I was in the area for another reason. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity, so I went inside and was disappointed to find out that the Long John Silver’s at this location was scheduled to shut down in November 2025. They were already starting to transition as only 1 register was available to order LJS and it was cash only. I was told that if that register goes before November, they will not replace it and LJS may close if there’s no register. As I don’t carry cash, I had to go somewhere and get cash back jut to go to LJS. The price wasn’t bad. $6 for 2 pieces of flaky delicious fish, 2 hush puppies and a good amount of waffle fries. I also ordered the shrimp for $3. The price for the food was good. Nothing was sitting around, so it took about 10 minutes for piping hot, freshly made fish, shrimp and waffle fries. This is a fast food restaurant, so expect fast food quality, but it was a refreshing change. The last LJS I visited was in Allentown PA 20+ years ago, and it was a stand-alone store (from what I recall). Now that I know it exists, I’ll be sad to see it go. I understand New England is the land of Fresh Seafood, but this was a nice, fairly inexpensive change to the standard fast food fare in the area.

The worst taco bell I’ve ever pulled into. The service is trash. The building is ugly. The parking lot needs repaved. Overall this location should be demolished and the owners should be thrown in debtors prison for all the time they’ve wasted of the general public.

This is the only and the best long John silver, in all of Massachusetts. I read reviews that there was no Long John Silver at this location because it is a joint Taco Bell. I decided to investigate for myself. Upon further investigation into my pleasant surprise, they do serve seafood at this location. I was a little skeptical to try drive-through fried shrimp. To be honest it was really yummy. Thank you beloved Taco Bell/long John silver employees.

Don’t waste your time here if you want LJS. If you’re looking for a quick meal you won’t get it here, definitely not fast food. You may not even get your food at all. Better off finding some real seafood. Sat at the counter for 15 minutes before we even got a hello, or be right with you. Got quite a few strange looks in that time though so they definitely saw us. Had to ask them if we could get helped then continued to get stares from multiple staff members like we didnt belong there. Then another 20 minutes before we got our food that wasn’t cooked all the way. Chicken was cold on the inside. There were 4 other people eating inside so it didnt seem busy. Or maybe they value the drive through more than guests dining in. Horrible customer service, horrible food, horrible all around!

The worst business I have ever been to in my entire life. I cannot even believe I’m leaving a review like this or why I’m so bothered by it, long John silvers is only open when they want to be open. Their website says they’re 10:30-10pm, I just left at 8:30 on Friday and they said “we’re only taking Taco Bell orders” this has been the 4th time it’s happened to me. I’ve been to the West Roxbury location 5 times during business hours and have been able to get Long John Silvers one time. They never give a reason for it, every time it happens they say king John silvers closed shortly before the current time. Check their website and it says open till 10pm, not the Taco Bell website; the LONG JOHN SILVER website. Then try to call them, anyone try to call, I called them 11 times in a row and they will NOT pick up. LJS is usually cooked to order, so I can all about guarantee their lazy employees just don’t feel like cooking LJS when it’s ordered far less than Taco Bell. They should be put out of busy, absolute laziness. Worst business I’ve ever tried to get food from, they make McDonald’s look like Chic Fila. Scumbags.

First off… the inside was not open, it was drive thru only? Ok whatever. …
Sat in the drive up lane forever…. finally got up to the speaker… started to put our order in ONLY to be told Long John’s isn’t open today, only taking Taco Bell orders???? what????
This is the first and LAST time I will be coming here…. UGH….do better Long John Silver’s….
