I tried this place for the first time looking good review about the food taste but I had bad experience on this particular day. They were not accepting order online, so I ordered physically at the uptown-eat location using their kiosk. It was a mistake, I could have understand that perhaps they were not working at capacity. I had to wait in my car for 65 minutes. When I inquired at counter, I got to know there is only one lady who is managing everything alone. I wanted to cancel my order but they kept telling that ‘it is coming’.
The portions were small for its price.
Kothu parotta was overcooked and kind of ‘burnt’. What I did not like was, they did not give the right description of it. I suspected it had meat pieces as ingredients which I avoid in my food.
Their naan was stale and hard, and just two small pieces, means it was not even a full naan looking at its price.
Their paneer masala was tasty, that was only positive thing this day, but again the portion was vey minimal, and not at all generous as some other review says..

The food is not fresh and it is clearly stale. I ordered takeout biryani and chicken 65. Both are stale and tasted bad. I added a review few days ago with pictures. But somehow they managed to remove it.

Tried Tiffin Tales and loved it! The Street-Style Mushroom had the perfect spicy, smoky flavor—felt just like something you’d get from a food stall in India. The Biryani was super flavorful, with tender pieces and just the right amount of spice. And the Mango Lassi? So creamy and refreshing, I didn’t want it to end! Portions were solid, packaging was neat, and everything arrived fresh. Definitely ordering again!

Had samosas ordered for an office event and they were spectacular. Great price point and more importantly quite large and full of filling. They definitely don’t skimp on the portions or the taste. Everyone loved them!

They make their food ridiculously spicy (heat). It almost masks any semblance of good taste. If they made it less spicy it would be way more edible.
Update: Owners response is to specify heat level, the heat level was specified as ‘mild’ in the order. I’ve specified it in the last couple of orders and they have been inedibly hot. Picture added.

Portions were generous & the food is incredible. Spent more $ than needed, because the stand-out menu had so many things worth trying. Can easily feed (& feed well) 4 people here for $8-12 a head.

Tiffin Tales delivers authentic Indian flavors with great convenience to those who live on Ross or Peak.
The Samosas and the Veechu Parotta were perfectly crispy and were the stars of the show. The Southern Curry was Aromatic and is worth a try but the Garlic Naan could be better.
I will be back for the Short-Rib Biryani. Overall a bit pricey but happy to have quality Indian food around Ross.

The best god dam samosas I have ever had. And that chutney will leave you speechless. Would def recommend the trip and if you are catering it is the biggest hit.
