Went on a Friday night from 5:30-8pm
I ordered escargot which was very tasty but was missing the tongs to hold ithe shells and used napkins to hold the hot shells. I was told they didn’t have and tongs but I’m sure they did but didn’t know where they were.

My entree was the Trout amandine which was delicious. My husband ordered the onion soup and wasn’t disappointed!! Yummy. His entree was Flat iron steak. He enjoyed but didn’t arrive as ordered medium rare. It was RARE!
He ate it anyway.
The acoustics was unbearable to converse.
It would be a great place for lunch and only for the 25 year olds plus for dinner. Too loud!!!
The meal was well over $200 and although I enjoyed the meal I wouldn’t return again.

I recently dined at Fête Bistro by Slay, and their burger was a standout! Perfectly cooked, juicy, and bursting with flavor, the patty had a great char while staying tender inside. Fresh toppings and a toasted bun made every bite delicious—one of the best burgers I’ve had.
The service was fantastic—warm, attentive staff who made the meal feel special without hovering. Food came out fast and hot. The ambience was cozy yet lively, with soft lighting, stylish decor, and just-right background music.
Fête Bistro by Slay nails food, service, and vibe. Can’t wait to go back!

Outstanding food and service. The staff and management are extremely knowledgeable and hospitable. Great selection of cocktails and wine to enjoy before your food arrives.

Quaint restaurant 2 blocks from the ocean with big open air dining room. I came in on a Sunday evening and dined at the bar. Started with the duck liver pate though I was hesitant and surprisingly loved it. The layer of fat on the top really rounds out that super strong liver flavor that turns people off. Butter lettuce and Fête-touch salads were sooooo good. Finished with the mussels as my main dish and the were the best I’ve ever had. Nick was very knowledgeable about the menu and extremely patient with my indecisiveness. The staff were very charming and I will definitely be back. Nice job again David Slay with another excellent restaurant.

Where to start. Upon seating, host asked if water was desired. Ordered but only received after 3rd request.

Ordered escargots. No meat accessible even after cracking two shells open- empty.

Only salads offered were tabouleh and Persian cucumber- not quite complementary to escargots, even with shells only.

Waiter advised escargots would come without bread so ordered bread for a dipping / common side. Escargots, in fact, arrived with bread. There there was an abundance of bread. The upside is it tasted good however not sure worth the extra $8.

When an employee came to fill water glass, he noticed table was unsteady. He promptly kneeled down to adjust. Then again. The third time was apparently the charm. Each time pushing onto my leg and tipping items in the table.

I sent the escargot shells back and simply asked for the check. While waiting, the same kneeling employee politely asked if I’d mind moving the table so he could set up another one along the wall. Interesting request. Also while waiting for the check I was able to write this review.

Maybe I missed something and hopefully that’s what occurred. Maybe it’s frustrating as being considered an amateur chef, I went here tonight anticipating inspiration. In the past 5 years I’ve visited 30+ countries from Europe to Asia and beyond and never had quite a dining experience like this one tonight. I’ve enjoyed their Italian restaurant and it was good. I truly wish the chain well however some significant changes will need to occur else it is clear this one will disappear on very short order.

Had an amazing sidecar (cognac)! Their espresso martini is spot on. The food? As one would expect, David Slay’s menus never disappoint!

Great hostess, acceptable service, horrible food. Nothing french at all. Escargot (0/5) completely unclean and tasted like dirt. We had tried many places including Vegas, SF, NY and even in France and nothing tasted like this. We ate 3 out of 6 (3 of us) and told the person taking the dish away. No follow up from our server. Lamb shank (2/5), that 2 is for the risotto only. The meat was cooked well (fall off the bone) but so smelly that unable to complete. Trout (3/5), Duck (3/5), overcooked but good side.
Very disappointing. We were there to celebrate my son’s 21st birthday. Will not return.

Host was very accommodating on a busy Saturday night. Got us a beautiful table. Food was absolutely amazing, Chef David Slay himself came by the table to greet us and give us recommendations. Heard we were celebrating a graduation and they sent us out desserts! What a wonderful experience! Must come to the Slay restaurants for special occasions!! They’ve made it a memorable one. Thank you to everyone at FETE!!
