Very cool hockey theme bar!! Right off Hwy53 and very close to the US Hockey Hall of Fame. Lots of cool hockey memorabilia including some very cool Tiffany style original six lamps. Service was very polite and drink service very quick. Same can’t be said for the food. We were told that there was a large group in the dining area and that food may take a while. Our food took 2 hours to get to the table. The food was very good, but the wait was too long. Luckily, we had time to wait for our food. I would give this place another chance for drinks and appetizers.

Quiet atmosphere, in the dining area not the bar. Old school vibe the table and chairs, the walls, game machines and choice of music playing. Old historic photos, and memorabilia put up.

Food was good but not great. The cheese sticks came out way overcooked they had to make a new batch. My favorite was the pizza, very good. Server was nice, food was very slow to be served from time of ordering.

Staying in Eveleth for the week and ate here twice. Both times the food took a little while but it was worth the wait. Our server and the bar tender were both very friendly. Laid back vibe. We will be back!

Came in for a late lunch around 2:45pm today. Stood at the entrance for over 5 minutes and no one came to seat us, the bartender saw us too. A couple older ladies were leaving and told us “good luck” and how the food was good but the older waitress was “terrible” and how everything was super slow, over an hour wait. There were only 2 people inside! Ladies said they didn’t even get their whole meal, had to ask for the rest of it after they got their bill. Pictures of food here look good, so we’ll try again another time, but managers should look into the waitress who doesn’t want to do her job.

Absolutely terrible experience. The rink itself was barely okay, but everything else was a disaster. We hardly saw our server at all, which made even the simplest things frustrating. Service was slow, disorganized, and felt completely neglected.

What truly ruined the experience was the environment. The owner was in the back screaming at employees, loud enough for customers to hear. It was hostile, uncomfortable, and wildly unprofessional. Seeing an employee visibly crying because of how she was being treated was honestly disturbing. No customer should witness that, and no employee should ever be treated that way.

This place is nothing like it was when it first opened. The quality, professionalism, and atmosphere have gone downhill fast. If you’re thinking about coming here, don’t. And if you’re considering working here, don’t get a job there. The way staff are treated alone is enough to stay far away.

First time here and love it. Great food AND they serve dark bear in 22oz glasses, unlike Boomtown (next restaurant over) who serves their dark beer in small tulip glasses with half foam. Shame on them. Anyways, Rink is awesome Lisa was a great waitress.

We had a group of 6 that ate here the end of July. Seated promptly and were informed that it was going to be 30-45 minute wait for food. Not problem, we all ordered drinks. When the drinks arrived, we ordered apps, and food. The appetizers came quickly, ghost pepper cheese curds highly recommended! Then we waited, and waited, then waited some more. One hour and thirty minutes after ordering, our food arrived. It was good, but if we weren’t enjoying talking with friends, it wouldn’t have been worth the wait.

Don’t let the outside fool you into thinking the place isn’t open. The inside was nice and clean and bright. Bar keeper was upbeat and quick to help. The cheeseburger came with some crispy, flavorful fries. The burger was not a hit,. It just didn’t have anything special about it, and tasted a bit freezer burned. Not worth the 9.50
The chili was good with just the tiniest bit of heat. I had the upgraded size, which was not a huge serving. Does not come with crackers, but did include cheese, onions and sour cream.

Lively sports bar atmosphere with TV’s in both the dining and bar area. A fun local watering hole type spot and hockey fans will definitely enjoy the decor. Perhaps not the best intimate quiet date night spot, unless perhaps it’s a first date and you want the distraction of a TV on every wall. Floors are cool and clean, But just a bit louder since floors aren’t carpeted.

Locally owned and operated, you can see they take pride in their business, staff and dining experience.

We enjoyed the all you can eat fish fry and will definitely be back.

TIP for access- good legal ATV access. From the Highway 53, the frontage road can be a little tricky to see where to turn in the dark, so look for and turn by the Subway Restaurant.

Our go-to breakfast place when visiting family in the Virginia/ Evelyth area. Their menu is simple with great offerings. The food is always on point. Their dining room has great acoustics that lend itself to great conversation without having to speak loudly to be heard. Staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the stuffed hash browns and biscuits and gravy. I love hockey, so the name and decor are perfect for me!
