DELICIOUS!! The food was amazing, even as leftovers the next day. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the dj was good too. The ambience is an interesting mix of club and fine dining, that works with the food. The drinks are good too!

It was Taco Tuesday/Game night. The tacos were mediocre at best. I had the fish tacos. My friends who tried the others shared the same sentiment. The music was way to loud for us to enjoy conversation or playing the board games amongst us. The selection of music was great, but just too loud. The service was not very good either. The food took waaay too long to come out and when we finally got our food the server left our table so fast with out asking if we needed anything else. We had to flag her down for utensils, plates and napkins. In which she returned quickly with but left just as quickly. I wasn’t able to ask for a refill of my water or the extra basket of fries I would have ordered. She also did not warn us that the kitchen would be closing after she served us so when we flagged her down the 3rd time to order those fries the kitchen was closed, then when the bill came the tip was already calculated in and there was only 3 of us at the table. I would not return for a taco Tuesday. Perhaps after covid for a dance party.

Poorly Handled by “Madame” Management

Went out with my friends and family to celebrate my graduation and decided to hit a local club. Things were going great at first—we were in good spirits, having fun, and enjoying the night. About an hour in, everything changed!

A woman ( Hispanic , about five foot, jet black hair) who seemed to be in charge approached us and told us we had to vacate the section we were sitting in because it was “reserved.” It was an empty Friday night, and the party it was allegedly reserved for hadn’t even arrived yet. We respectfully offered to pay for the section, but she refused without even considering it.

For context, this was around 10 PM on Friday, May 23rd, 2025. The Red Sox game had been postponed due to the rain, so we found a new spot to continue the celebration. Shoutout to the BARTENDERS —they were fantastic and really made us feel welcome!

When one of the staff members kindly told us we needed to move, I was in the middle of turning to let my group know, and before I could say anything, “Madame” came over and started shouting and demanding that we leave the section immediately, while 4 to 5 other sections were available for that party when they arrived. Then, out of nowhere, she got physically aggressive, just because we didn’t move fast enough for her.

It was completely uncalled for, especially given how calm and cooperative we were trying to be. What should have been a great night ended on a sour note because of how poorly the situation was handled.
My FIRST and LAST TIME GOING TO THE CLUB!

I ordered 4 shots of don julio and was charged $92, when I asked why, the bartender proceeded to say a shot cost $18, even at that, the total would be $72, she said the extra was service fee and tax… I have never seen anything like this before in my life

I came to Savvor when they were hosting a private event for an organization’s monthly meet up. The space was great for networking, intimate conversations, and the games we played. I enjoyed the appetizers they served – fried chicken (fried well & not breaded), chips & guacamole, and I believe spicy cauliflower bites. All the staff were kind. Savvor seems like a good place to have a work / organization private event.

I came here with my husband for our date night. We had purchased tickets for an Afro beat event in advanced. Upon arrival my husband left his ID at home. Clearly we are over 42+ year old “folks”. My husband had a picture of his ID and passport on his phone and the bouncer would not take anything unless it was physical mind you this bouncer had a chip on his shoulder didn’t even greet us! This is the first face allowing you inside this spot. We are in 2024 mind you it was 11:02pm down pouring rain and no line!!! You just threw money out the window but your lack of customer service was beside us. We ended up at Venu at 11:30 thanks to the 617 crew who walked us right into the club with a line around the corner literally. Bouncers did NOT ID us greeted us and walked us right inside the club with no cover. Do better!

Discriminated against me and my friend because we’re Africans! My friend visited Boston for the first time and we wanted to spend the Saturday night at their ‘night club’ event. Around 12:30am, the atmosphere was still so boring in there so we decided to take a quick trip to the Theatre District to see how overall night life in Boston was. We returned at exactly 1:05 and the security asked for our IDs. After showing our ‘African’ passports , he said there’s no re-entry after 1am. We were baffled as no one made that known to us and we had already paid a cover of $50 ($25 each).

After few confrontations and explanations, we just gave up and decided to just Uber home. I was surprised how they quickly changed their minds after seeing our passports. Well, we thought it was company policy and there was nothing we could do so we were calling it a night to just go home. This was after about 20 minutes of trying to persuade them, telling the security of how we had no idea of the policy and how they only changed their minds after seeing our passports and our tickets.

Just as we were waiting for our Uber, one gentleman (with no African accent and passport) and lady arrived. They were told they couldn’t enter, which made sense to us. This new gentleman called who I supposed was the manager. The manager came to the gate and told him it’s past 1pm, giggling and laughing. He then proceeded to allow them in. My friend was furious and demanded why they were applying different rules to different people. The manager had nothing to say, but shamelessly allowed these new people who had arrived after 1:25pm to enter, still denying us entry! UNBELIEVABLE!!! Couldn’t believe my eyes and the blatant discrimination.

First of all, the atmosphere is wack as compared to how vibrant this place used to be in the past. Now I understand why patronage gets thinner and thinner every Saturday evening. I have heard people complain about discrimination, but never thought it was so blatantly displayed!
I will never visit this place again as there’re better Afrobeats places like ICON with more luxurious and welcoming vibe.

Please don’t waste your time visiting here on Saturday night!

One of the best lounges I ever went to for Friday night specials, especially when there is a good DJ for the night. My friend hosted one of her birthday parties here and we had so much fun. The musics, foods, and drinks were legit. I believe that day the DJ was a Nigerian, because most of the songs played and majority were Nigerians. My friends ordered a bottle of wine for the birthday girl, and toasted to her day. The musics were so wonderful and addictive that I couldn’t stop dancing to every single one of it. I found it hard to seat down, because the DJ played my favorites from one to the other. It was like the night was not just meant for my friend but me as well.
