Been coming here for years. But less and less as time goes by. A couple years ago we order a bunch of crab Rangoon. None of them had any stuffing in them. Just fried wontons basically. So we started going other places. Sometime pass by and thought we would give them a try again. Same exact thing. So we told ourselves we weren’t going to go again. However, yesterday my wife had already ate and I did not want to go to Auburn or Fort Wayne so I decided that I would just get some Kung pow chicken and some lo mein noodles. Let me tell y’all the noodles sucked in the Kung pow chicken was nothing but raw carrots, raw celery, and a couple pieces of chicken drowned in soy sauce. The lo mein noodles at any Chinese place are better than what I received last night. The food is just all around not good anymore. It’s a shame used to be a good place.

What an absolute disappointment. The food was tasteless, the veggies were not cooked threw and the oil they used didn’t drain off the fried foods .
The price was outrageous for what you ordered. There was no filling in the crab rangoon, the pork fried rice had small pieces of pork and were not throughout, and the cashew chicken didn’t have but a few pieces of chicken and cashew.
We will never be back. I completely understand why there have been no people at this place. It honestly use to be our favorite. Won’t be surprised if they close.

It is great to see you guys still in business after seeing you open as Kendallville’s first Chinese restaurant over 20 years ago! I was in ENHS and our family was also one of very few asians growing up there, enjoying your Friday dinners. Never seen even Chinese Restaurants in Kuwait or Philippines stay opened this long.

General Tsao was good but the restaurant is absolutely filthy. Long-time settled dust covering the fans and decorations. Chairs are ripped and taped up, AC system apparently doesn’t work (thank god, look at how disgusting the vents are) so the front door is open and the cottonwood is drifting right into the restaurant everywhere. Kids didn’t care for the steamed dumplings and they got my order wrong, too. Won’t be back over sanitation alone.

They don’t take card and they don’t repair anything. They don’t spend a single cent into anything that doesn’t directly drive profit. You can bet they don’t spend any money on cleaning that kitchen or properly storing food.

THEY DO NOT TAKE CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS!!!! I was unaware and no atm in site so I had to drive across town to my bank for cash. When I finally got back to pick my food up (orange chicken and crab rangoon) i was excited to eat… the chicken was gross and tasted like it was over cooked and barely any stuffing in the rangoon. Looks like I’m not stopping there the next time I’m in town.
Also the place is dirty and ran down. I should’ve taken that as a red flag before ordering

I don’t even know how they’re in the 4 star range. I have tried to give multiple chances to this place being that it’s the only Chinese place in town. Apparently they think general tsaos chicken and orange chicken is the same thing or maybe they think we’re dumb enough to not know the difference? And chow mein doesn’t come with noodles? Either way this place sucks. The food is definitely not fresh. No wonder everything is done in ten minutes.

I had a very bad experience at this restaurant. I ordered my food in person, and there was another order exactly like mine. Instead of giving me fresh food, they gave me items that were cold and tasted like they had been sitting there for hours. This is unacceptable. I won’t be coming back, and I do not recommend this place.

The place is filthy. The rice is definitely not fresh, probably days old. General zos chicken also tasted burnt and not right. I’ll never order here again when there are good fresh Chinese food in Auburn.
