Looks very much like a mom and pop should

We found parking on the street. Not sure if there is more in the back. Landed at 4:45 and the space was empty. By the time we left around 6:15, the place was pretty busy.

Chips tasted generic but salsa was decent. Ended up getting additional serving while looking at the very large menu.

We got a mix of dishes including a side of chile relleno. We also got a steak dish with a chile relleno included and the side dish piece was twice as large as the one that came with the steak. Presentation was good overall.

Tamarind margarita had a good balance of flavors

The steak was small but seasoned well. Went well with the soft corn tortillas. Beans were standard as was the rice. The seasoned, sautéed onions with the steak were good. Relleno was good. Beef taco tasted like Taco Bell but was better stuffed.

The check I couldn’t make head or tail out of but the sum seemed right.

Worth a second visit.

Great food and a nice quiet place to have dinner. The lady’s that serve you are the best. You never need to ask for a refill or another cocktail.

Friendly staff. Seems authentic! We had a jumbo margarita and Modelo beer (served with a chilled glass), chips was on the house. We had combo tamale, enchiladas. Also tried 4 street taco with beef and chicken. Food tasted good. The salsa has a kick to it 🙂 don’t forget to read about the history of the building!!

10 of us ate here. Typical Mexican fare, well prepared. Excellent service. prices between 10 and $20 for lunch. We were all happy, especially the gluten free and dairy free persons.

While the food tasted good and was exactly what I asked for, the filth in the restaurant was inexcusable. The tap in the bathroom was sparatic, the floor was sticky, and there was a layer of some kind of dirt surrounding the restaurant.
The kitchen had some black substance on the walls and our seats had a thick layer of dust. Well, dust doesn’t mean very much but it felt as if the place needed a very heavy cleaning.

Nice lakeside spot close to many other shops with a peaceful rural feel.
Staff was friendly, the chips and salsa are amazing here. Unfortunately the campechana I ordered was as fresh as I’d had hoped, and not very tasty.

I’d give this 6 out of 5 stars if I could. Everything we had was delicious. Easily in the top 2 Mexican restaurants we’ve tried within a 30 miles radius of Seattle.

This is the Mexican mom-and-pop you’re looking for. Ordering any of the plates gets you a heaping portion that is sure to invite a restful nap. Chips and house salsa are given at the beginning of the meal. Ordered the carnitas de res, which arrived searing hot with rice, refritos, lettuce, tomatoes, guac (at no extra charge, find that in Seattle), and warm tortillas in a tortillero. Your choice of corn or flour. Overall, a surprising amount of authenticity for being out in Fall City. Our waitress recommended tequila at 1PM, which is an excellent attitude to have.

Bring your vaxx card!
