We were visiting town for fun, not from the area, and saw Krawbar on Restaurants Near Me. The staff was kind and helpful, very patient. The atmosphere was dimly lit, and they played great music. Each course we tried and drink we drank were made with culinary love! Took plenty of leftovers To-Go, and hope to come back next time we’re around!

The food was amazing and reasonably priced. Definitely the best steak that I’ve had below 60 dollars. I don’t usually like oysters but theirs were very fresh and the sauce with it was fantastic. Cocktails were unique and well balanced. The chicken wings were crispy and the fish sauce went well with them. The strawberry shaved ice was surprisingly delicious after I found the jellies on the bottom :). Service was also great.

In general, the food is okay and overpriced. The atmosphere is cozy urban. The seared tuna salad is not as tasteful as I expected. The prawn cocktail is not fresh, like it’s been left there for a few days. The seared scallops dish is good but the portion is small. Poke is only okay with tiny portion. Staffs are helpful and friendly. Service is reasonably timed.

Aspen was the perfect host. She allowed for a lovely “pace” to our evening so that we could explore the Krawbar menu, its comfortable interior and the magnificent food. From the HH Dynamite Shrimp to the Seafood Boil with Dungeness Crab and the French “Happy” Chardonnay by the glass, we could not have asked for better! Truly! It was very “shareable” and perfect for two. The tastes are truly impressive! Coming back for sure!!

Came for an early dinner and everything was great! Highlight is the deep fried Brussel Sprouts – probably the best I’ve had. Seafood bowls were good, had mussels, clams and prawns. All seafood is fresh and delicious. Fried chicken is good just not much different from others.

The environment was very cute, servers were nice but took a while to get to us each time. We had the Dynamite shrimp for our appetizer and it was absolutely delicious. It was way better than our main meal, which was the Cajun catfish dinner and the Cajun catfish bao buns. The catfish on both of ours could’ve been fried a little longer and a little extra seasoning. I’ve never had bao buns prior to eating here, but I thought it was a weird combination for a catfish sandwich because the bun doesn’t really have flavor so it doesn’t compliment the fish in any type of way and the texture is just weird to me to go with fried fish.

It was a bit hot inside but manageable. They can install portable AC during summer. However, service, food and ambience were all great. I can see this as a good hang out place for colleagues after work. I will definitely return.

We were able to make reservations on line for 8, so easy. Loved the food, good portions, and great price! My husband and I shared the boil spicy kraw sauce with the prawns. We were able to get the bao buns on the side with galic noodles!. Absolutely delicious! Jack our server was awesome and too cute!

IF YOU LIKE OYSTER SHOOTERS, YOULL LOVE THE KRAWBAR! My first time there and the experience was beyond amazing. We sat in the bar and brandon ( I think that’s what his name was )was our bartender. He greeted us and made and gave us the run down of the menu. My friend and I got lots of little things to share, and we were not disappointed! We ordered a lot of items off the raw section, and tons of oyster shooters , which are probably the best I have ever had. Both the service and the food were out of this world. If you are ever in Issaquah, stop by, you will not regret it !

The restaurant has a interesting mix of various Asian seasoning and flavor profiles in their seafood preparations. Their seafood boil lets you choose the seafood and accompaniments you want along with the flavor of the sauce. The Cajun sauce was pretty good. Crawfish were huge. Great cocktails and liquor selection. I really liked the sauce and apple ice that came with the fresh oysters. The prime steaks came on a sizzling platter. Service was really friendly and professional.
