This is a gem in the area! It’s one of those places so so important to the community — a place which strives to provide well made food at an affordable price. It is possible here to get some good food no matter how much you have to spend. They have very affordable combos as well.
The owner really cares about that. The recipes and food are very homely, (like Mom made it) and they have a fantastic array of Indian sweets!
Soon they will also have Indian pizzas like tikka masala pizza– delicious!

As an Indian food enthusiast, I’m usually quite picky—especially when it comes to Indian restaurants in California. That said, this place truly exceeded my expectations. The food is authentic and reminds me of home, and the staff is warm and welcoming. A wonderful experience all around!

This is my third visit to Desi Vibes. The food quality is amazing, and I can’t wait to return. Everything tastes homemade, with attention to detail, freshness, and incredible flavors.
Their garlic naan is out of this world. As a vegetarian restaurant, you won’t miss the meat.
The welcoming owners treat you like family. Their main combo is $8.99, and they also offer 2 curries with rice for $6.99. The rice pudding is amazing, and their spinach with cheese is rich and delicious. I will definitely be back to try
There is plenty of free parking, and it is wheelchair accessible. Located on the corner of Winnetka and Roscoe, you won’t regret coming. They’re open to the public and can accommodate big groups. Don’t let my words describe the food. Go and try it yourself.

These concrete blocks took some of the parking. Way too many busisness in and around there, so one food place there could likely get all rhe attention and thus those customers are dominating the parking. The other busisness will suffer. Couldn’t find parking anywhere. This photo is another street but it didn’t cross my mind to photograph until I drove away and I wasn’t going to drive back and get the exact ones that were taking the parking. Looks like a door dash and not an actual restaurant, I couldn’t tell because I couldn’t get close enough to see what it was after driving by 2 times. I gave up and left.

Must try place! Loved the mango Lassi! Definitely going back just for that! They opened today and had a chance to meet the owner, super sweet lady! We tried the chowmein, veg Manchurian, etc super yummy! Roti was fresh, Mattar paneer was really good! VERY reasonably priced, trust me on this. Will definitely go back soon!

Went during the grand opening, where everything is 25% off and you get free food if you order dine in. This is a vegetarian restaurant that parallels India Sweets and Spices restaurants. The sweets are the same price. Today, everything was fresh and tasted delicious. Ordered takeout and waited 20 minutes, presumably for the pizza. The 4 topping curry pizza is solid and has a great ingredient ratio and delicious 8/10 would order again, the vegetable machurian had vegetable balls that were tough and had a bit odd aftertaste (would not order again although the gravy was good), and the combo 2 was $9 with portions were on the smaller end but the vegetable korma and Mattar paneer were the best tasting of everything ordered. Their samosa was good but a bit oily, and their chutney was on point and not watered down. I heard great things about the naan but I’ll give the benefit of the doubt here since I ate it 10 minutes after receiving it. The star of the show was the mango lassi, which had a flavorful mango flavor, was cheaper than other places in the valley, but a little on the watery side. Would come here again just for the lassi. The sweets were good! Standard selection for Indian grocery stores, with added paan offerings. There was a lot more ghee in these sweets. The best one was the paan roll, which managed to have a crispy texture and was not overwhelmingly sweet. The jalebi is solid, with a crispy texture but not too much syrup inside. The ladoo melted in my mouth. All in all, would come again for the snacks, a light meal, and pizza. They have a 10% student discount. And if you were wondering, yes, it is authentic Indian food.

The food was absolutely incredible. As someone who has never had Indian food before I wasn’t sure what to expect but everything exceeded my expectations in the best way possible. You can really tell that every dish was made with absolute love and care.
Overall, my experience here was wonderful. My waiter Jared really made my experience memorable with his friendly and patient attitude. I will definitely be coming back soon!
