Visiting from Hawaii the reasonable prices were welcoming. Had a slice of pepperoni, salad and soda. Definitely how a New York pizza should taste. It’s right before you make a left to Arroyo Grande softball complex. Worth stopping in. Won’t be disappointed. Tell Anthony Pedro sent you.

Disclaimer: This is my personal experience. I always believe in giving businesses the opportunity to make things right. If something’s off, speak up. Most places genuinely cDisclaimerare and will fix it. With that in mind, here’s the full slice of our visit:

Anthony’s Pizzaria – Horizon Ridge, Henderson NV
Tucked between Butcherblock and GolfTech

If you’re cruising down Horizon Ridge Parkway and craving something hot, fast, and made with heart, pull off the road and follow the scent of fire-blistered crust and spicy marinara. It’ll lead you to Anthony’s Pizzaria.

We were first-timers, ordering the Large Hawaii Five-O — a bold combo of pepperoni, pineapple, and jalapeños — to go. From the moment we stepped inside, the vibe felt different in the best way. No awkward waiting. No wondering who to talk to. Within seconds, a gentleman greeted us with a handshake and a smile. “I’m Anthony,” he said.

Yep. The Anthony.

Owner. Operator. Pizza man. He looked me in the eye, shook my hand, and welcomed us in like we were longtime regulars. That kind of hospitality stands out.

On the phone they said it would be 15 minutes, and just like that on-time, 15 minutes, the oven opened and our pie was coming out hot and fresh.

Let’s talk pizza :

Crust: Crisp at the edges with a golden finish, but soft enough in the center to give that perfect fold. No flop, no mess.

Sauce: Rich and savory with a little kick. It wasn’t too sweet or overpowering. Just the kind of balance you want when spice and pineapple are involved and we all know I’ve had my fair share of pizza around here.

Toppings: That blend of salty pepperoni, sweet pineapple, and spicy jalapeños isn’t your average combo, but it hits. Every bite gives you something new. A little fire, a little sweet, a lot of flavor.

The place smelled incredible — garlic, toasted dough, and herbs in the air. It felt like one of those hidden gems you find by accident and then make your go-to spot.

Pro tip: Tell them Greg sent you.
You might walk out with a free cannoli and your own handshake story.

Final Take:
✔️ Local.
✔️ Hot out the oven.
✔️ Run by the guy whose name is on the sign and he’s actually there.
✔️ Pizza made like somebody truly cares.

If you’re anywhere near Horizon Ridge, Anthony’s Pizzaria is worth the stop.
Five out of five slices. Also, so much more on the menu, I should have snagged some more pictures.

First time trying Anthony’s Pizza and we are glad we did. First, everyone working for Anthony was nice and friendly. Second, the pizza was wonderful and reminded us of being back east, where we grew up. Anthony was absolutely the best, even if he is a Yankee’s fan (Red Sox’s fan here), and a pleasure to talk with. We will be eating here again. The store is small, but you can still eat on site inside or out in front of the store. Great little hole-in-the-wall gem that we would recommend to all.

Not a great experience. We ordered online. I had no option to choose a sauce for our wings, they came naked! The salad had one slice of tomato, two slices of onion and a side of ranch, not good at all. The pizza had a strange aftertaste and I couldn’t get past the one bite I took. I’m almost scared to try the spaghetti and meatballs that we saved for later.. the only good thing we’re the mozzarella sticks but then again, those are real hard to mess up! We spent 80 dollars on disgusting food and definitely won’t be ordering again!!

I went to this place looking for a new pizzeria and to try restaurants that aren’t franchises. I found this one, and the photos of the pizzas really caught my attention. But from the moment I arrived, my experience was bad.

First, my partner and I ordered the pizza 10-15 minutes before heading there, the same amount of time it said it would be ready. After a 7-minute drive, we arrived, and they told us it would take 30 minutes. I thought it was because there were several people waiting. I figured they had a lot of orders, so we waited, and they gave us the pizza about 15 minutes later. Since we were already running a bit late for a small social gathering, we didn’t check the pizza until we were about to eat it. The presentation ruined my night even more. I didn’t take a photo in the moment out of disappointment, but the following photos already say a lot…

Wonderful experience & great pizza. I loved the crisp crust and there was a perfect balance of cheese and sauce. Thanks again!

I would try and upload a menu somewhere and make it easy to find because most of the photos online are only half of the menu.

My husband and I are new to the area, and we wanted pizza. I will say hands down the best. There’s no need to go to any other pizza place. We will be regulars here. We absolutely love it. Hawaiian XL with black olives & garlic knots.

This was a great find and it’s close to the house. Real pizza, with a taste that brings me back to the old School pizza we would get when I was a student at Chaparral High School.
A crust to die for on their slices that hold up to a real fold and won’t droop when you go for a bite !
Flavor galore, the right ratio of cheese to sauce to crust, which is more important to overall taste experience in my humble opinion.
Get the 2 slices and a drink special and see for yourself. And maybe you will get to have a nice chat with the proprietor, Anthony. Who is pleasant and welcoming upon all his guests.
Just the right vibe and a variety on their menu for all appetites.

It’s a small store, but so cute! The staff was very friendly and service was fast. I love that they have the freestyle coca cola machine. We ordered the bucket of fries. So good but I would recommend you get that for a party of 4 or more. The pizza was great! Will definitely be back.
