Not going to lie, I was excited to try the food for the first time and was disappointed. The food was good but made me and my boyfriend sick afterwards I don’t what it was but we was sick. I had the pita burger and he got the seafood platter.

Michelle, who’s usually at the front, is so nice! I like that you can often catch shows on the TV here, such as Price is Right! Their sweet tea is nice and sweet and super delicious and I love their barbecue sandwiches! It’s also so cool to go to a place where they remember what you want when you walk in the door! Later add-on: They did a cute activity today where kids could search the restaurant for five busy bees and my son won one of those sticky ninja prizes, so he’s really enjoyed that!

I was in the area from out of town and seen this restaurant. Don’t let the outside fool you, this was some of the best food I’ve had in a while. We got a mixture of everything. Shrimp, fries, hush puppies, chicken tenders, and fish. The service was great, and the food was fresh. That fish was fried to PERFECTION, not overly seasoned, but just right paired with the homemade tartar sauce. I’m willing to drive 45 minutes sometimes to experience this place and more of their options.

First time visiting. We tried a little of everything: chicken wings,fries, onion rings,chef salad, chicken salads, gizzards. The food was freshly prepared and delicious!! Well worth the wait for it!! The owner came out & spoke to us. Very friendly. He had the waitress bring us out 4 cups of the most delicious desserts free of charge. Just before leaving he gifted us slices of pie. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed!!! The ranch dressing is thick & tasty too!

Stopped by to grab some lunch after running errands and wanted to try some different places around town. Chicken King was pretty good! My Philly Cheesesteak was fresh, hot and tasty. I love Mac and Cheese so I gave it a try. It was creamy, cheesy and hot. Food was cook to order and had an experienced staff. I would definitely recommend if your in the Chester area.

Not from the area but was traveling for a soccer game. Stopped in for supper. I ordered the chicken pita grilled & my husband got the fried buffalo chicken pita. Both were delicious. Served hot & fresh with fries on the side. We couldnt eat all of it & had leftovers to take home. Super nice / friendly staff.
We had a chicken king back home but it unfortunately closed down. Now we have a reason to visit chester! Highly recommend this place. They have a huge selection of food, something for everyone. Thanks for the kind service & fabulous Food. We will see you again <3

I’m not from the area however , I stopped here cause I had a local pick up about 10 mins before they closed because I got in late. The southern hospitality is real in this place! If I came back for no other reason I’d revisit for that alone ! Super friendly staff ! The food was amazing to not what you’d expect from a place trying to shut down for the night! Huge portions wasn’t able to finish it all. I will for sure be back ! Thanks for a great visit !

I visited this amazing place when I was traveling through Chester for work. And now I’m jealous that I don’t have one near my house. The prices beat any fast food around and the food is better quality than fancy restaurants I’ve been to. Huge selection of food and it comes out fast and fresh. Loved the fried catfish and the burgers. THE WORLD NEEDS MORE CHICKEN KINGS!!!
