La Tequila Mexican Restaurant has a really welcoming vibe with friendly customer service right from the start. The portions are generous, so you definitely won’t leave hungry.
The restaurant itself is very spacious, both indoors and outdoors, which makes it a great spot for families, groups, or anyone who wants plenty of room to relax and enjoy their meal.
As for the food, it’s decent overall, though the flavors weren’t as bold or punchy as I personally prefer for Mexican cuisine. That said, everything was prepared well and filling.
Overall, it’s a solid place for a comfortable meal with good service and plenty of space—especially if you value portion size and atmosphere.

I always go through town when I’m passing Cloverdale, and have never liked the highway bypass for obvious reasons, and today was no exception.
I’m sure glad the town didn’t fall off the map like a lot of them do, and I was especially happy to see a lot of the old establishments still plugging along. Today I’m stopping at the La Tequila Mexican Restaurant for tacos, but not just any tacos…I have a hankering for crunchy tacos! And..Man-O-Man were they great! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ and worthy of going into town for!

Funny thing is we found this place by accident… the first time we were talking so much we didn’t hear the GPS tell us to make a right turn… once we heard it…it was telling us to make a u-turn… we drove a little further… made a u-turn… I told him that I was hungry and we were just driving past La Tequila… we stopped for lunch… we were so happy…so good… so delicious…this is the third time that we’ve been here…we’ve brought my Mom twice… she loves it too and both times she got the huevos rancheros with the red and green sauce… this time we got the chile verde… chimichanga… 1 lingua taco… 1 Cabeza taco… 1 quesabirria taco and the big prawns in cream sauce with mushrooms and onions… it was so delicious !!! If you’re driving through Cloverdale or on the way to Fort Bragg definitely stop here it’s only a half mile out of the way

Absolutely breathtaking, beautiful place, water fountain, live music with bands, watermelon with mint margaritas, roasted pineapple, fresh grilled meats and tortillas. This is my newest favorite Mexican restaurant. Great service, food, and architecture. I believe the way a restaurant looks is as important as everything else. I didn’t think I’d find another Mexican restaurant, so soon that would impress me. I ordered a chimichanga Pollo burrito with rice, beans, chips, salsa, and lemonade, I wasn’t disappointed at all. Usually, I find something wrong in every place I go to, but not here! I would appreciate it if they would open a place in Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, or Petaluma, Ca.
