Sesame Hut is hands down the BEST when it comes to service, affordability, portion size, taste, and value. For three people, including all food and iced teas, it cost ~$40. We had onion rings, fried rice, lo mein, egg rolls, general tsao chicken x2, and teriyaki chicken. Everything was freshly made so it took some time but oh my gosh… opening those boxes to piping hot piles of food was such a warm and joyous feeling. I often struggle to see the value in eating out, but for the first time ever we’ve finally found a place where you can eat to your heart’s content knowing it was made with love and worth every single penny.
My boyfriend and I have eaten at a LOT of Asian places over the course of many years, but not a single one of them left us feeling happy to have eaten out while also full. To put it in a different perspective, I -always- take home food from wherever we eat out at, but here I finished every single bite down to the last lo mein noodle and smallest piece of chicken. I can’t say enough good things about Sesame Hut, it’s one of those places you just HAVE to try if you’re tired of overpaying to under-eat. They truly earned and deserve every positive rating! Side note, we saw a random woman come in who needed to use a phone and the lady at the register helped her out no questions asked. Need I say more? Do yourself/your family a favor and go grab a bite of hot, fresh, and flavorful food!

I’ve been living on Long Point for three years and just discovered this gem last month! The prices are great, the portions are huge, and the food is absolutely delicious. Everything I’ve tried so far has been fresh and flavorful. Definitely my new go-to spot for Asian food!

Fantastic hidden gem on the west side of town. The General Tso’s Chicken and the onion rings were delicious and the egg roll was incredible. Great spot for a quick lunch or dinner. Highly recommend!

Fall in love with Sesame Hut! Fresh prepped onion rings omg tempura batter Delicious! I add more veggies to stir fry chicken. Others prefer #3 Gen Tso’s chicken with white rice.
Most customers carry out lunch & dinner so there’s rarely many people dining in there.

Absolutely delicious and best eggrolls I’ve ever had. The portions are so big and the price is good. Family owned and operated for years! It’s a Houston native landmark that doesn’t get enough recognition. They are always friendly, clean and humble.

Ever since their days at Northwest Mall, they have exemplified outstanding customer service and served delicious food at reasonable prices. As a family-owned and operated business, they make everyone who walks through their doors feel like part of the family. Few places can provide that kind of warmth and connection.

First time at Sesame Hut. The restaurant was clean, smelled fresh, and the employees were extremely nice and friendly. I got the General Tso’s Chicken. Huge portion, very delicious. Not as spicy as I’m used to, but nothing a little of their hot sauce didn’t fix. Overall, I was very impressed and really appreciated the food and friendly vibe.

My husband and I walked in to order our food. It took about 10-15 mins to get it which was fine. The lady in the front was super nice. She over heard me say I saw good reviews on the onion rings and she gave me 2 bags of them to try! Everything was super yummy. Great portions for the price. Definitely will be returning.
