We spent New Year’s Eve at Brasserie Milanese and had a really great time. The festive menu was full of tempting dishes. The foie gras was rich and smooth, a perfect way to start, and the seafood starters were fresh and full of flavor.

For mains – You could tell a lot of care went into every plate, and the portions were just right. Dessert was light, elegant, and a nice finish after such a satisfying meal.

Add to that a relaxed but classy vibe and very friendly, attentive service, and it was a lovely way to welcome the New Year. Definitely a place worth coming back to.

This eatery was just around the corner from our hotel. I would very highly recommend it for many reasons. The chef and the staff were very friendly…all smiles and accommodating. They have a complimentary amuse bouche of cured veal but my wife is pescatarian. They told they chef who immediately put together a vegetarian one for her! The food shows creativity and effort by the chef and it tasted great too! Even the bread basket was special. As was the butter which was made from butter, black garlic and a sprinkle of salt. We ordered the Apple Tart for desert and it was heavenly. It had a thin crust, a whole half of an apple which was poached he’d until soft and dribbled with a delicious sauce and a scoop of gelato.

Went on a Thursday night when it was quiet but that didn’t spoil our enjoyment. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated inside. Each table has its own light and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the courses. Nice little touches such as an “amuse bouche” of marinated veal “ham” and then some high cocoa nibbles after our dessert were nice touches. The meals are quite complex to describe but everything worked perfectly.
I thought it very reasonably priced. I’d expect to pay another £20 per head for this quality in Manchester or London.
Staff were friendly and helpful and we even got to meet the chef when leaving. This is a little gem of a place and deserves to do well. It’s not far from the main railway station and is definitely worth a visit. I’d go back like a shot. Thank you.

The name sounds like a stylish French restaurant, but I say it is more like a high-end eatery. The Risoni and Shrimp is a plate of orzo with tiny shrimp pieces in a cream sauce. Take a couple of raw shrimp, diced up to pieces, sprinkle a few chopped scallion for presentation. Edible, but costly for small pieces of raw shrimp.
The restaurant opened at 7:00pm. My friend and I were there around 7:17pm. We were told two dishes were not longer available. Hmm, not planning well ahead!?!?!
The hostess was just being cordial long enough to take the order. Frankly speaking, quite aloof. The other person, a helper, was actually more friendly.

We made a reservation online, super easy and convenient.

Once seated, we were welcomed with a chef’s appetizer starter and a bread basket. For the mains, we ordered a gnocchi and a fried risotto plus a cotoletta to share. Everything was simply amazing!

10/10 would recommend

This is a restaurant that cooked food with love. Owner Anna took great care of our big group.

We ordered two cod fish dishes, one was heavenly good but the other was extremely salty. After bringing the issue to Anna’s attention, she took it off our bill and gave us a perfectly cooked one. We appreciated her effort to right the wrong.

If you had not already, tried this place. You wouldn’t be disappointed.

Highly recommend.

Excellent dinner experience. High quality creative dishes, really nice service, and also very gluten free friendly. Highly recommend!

Gluten free bread and polenta chips and menu is labeled with options. But also incredible non gluten free food!

One of our favourite restaurants in Milan. The food is creative with a focus on regional produce and fine cuisine without the over the top drama. The staff is cool and welcoming. Big Bonus: Finally a team that curates their wine list with passion adding seasonal surprises that are refreshing in a sea of rotating household names.
Grazie!

We stumbled upon this gem while searching for gluten-free dinner options, and boy, are we glad we did! The service was top-notch – we walked in just after 7 pm, and our waitress was super knowledgeable and professional. The food was incredible: the cutlet was tender and flavorful, and the Artichoke dish was a safe bet for my gluten-free wife (and it was delish!). But the real star of the show was the Tiramasu – hands down the best I’ve ever had. Absolutely squisito! Grazie mille for making our trip from New Zealand unforgettable!

I had a great time in the New Year’s Eve. The set of foods was nice and I love their foie gras with pan brioche and ravioli (lamb was so good) specially.
The staffs were always kind and patient with smiles even they’re busy during this big day. I appreciated that the host prepared the cotechino and lentils earlier for me due to my schedule.
Location is convenient as well. Recommended!
