For mains – You could tell a lot of care went into every plate, and the portions were just right. Dessert was light, elegant, and a nice finish after such a satisfying meal.
Add to that a relaxed but classy vibe and very friendly, attentive service, and it was a lovely way to welcome the New Year. Definitely a place worth coming back to.
I thought it very reasonably priced. I’d expect to pay another £20 per head for this quality in Manchester or London.
Staff were friendly and helpful and we even got to meet the chef when leaving. This is a little gem of a place and deserves to do well. It’s not far from the main railway station and is definitely worth a visit. I’d go back like a shot. Thank you.
The restaurant opened at 7:00pm. My friend and I were there around 7:17pm. We were told two dishes were not longer available. Hmm, not planning well ahead!?!?!
The hostess was just being cordial long enough to take the order. Frankly speaking, quite aloof. The other person, a helper, was actually more friendly.
Once seated, we were welcomed with a chef’s appetizer starter and a bread basket. For the mains, we ordered a gnocchi and a fried risotto plus a cotoletta to share. Everything was simply amazing!
10/10 would recommend
We ordered two cod fish dishes, one was heavenly good but the other was extremely salty. After bringing the issue to Anna’s attention, she took it off our bill and gave us a perfectly cooked one. We appreciated her effort to right the wrong.
If you had not already, tried this place. You wouldn’t be disappointed.
Highly recommend.
Gluten free bread and polenta chips and menu is labeled with options. But also incredible non gluten free food!
Grazie!
We stumbled upon this gem while searching for gluten-free dinner options, and boy, are we glad we did! The service was top-notch – we walked in just after 7 pm, and our waitress was super knowledgeable and professional. The food was incredible: the cutlet was tender and flavorful, and the Artichoke dish was a safe bet for my gluten-free wife (and it was delish!). But the real star of the show was the Tiramasu – hands down the best I’ve ever had. Absolutely squisito! Grazie mille for making our trip from New Zealand unforgettable!
The staffs were always kind and patient with smiles even they’re busy during this big day. I appreciated that the host prepared the cotechino and lentils earlier for me due to my schedule.
Location is convenient as well. Recommended!
