Love the decor ,very modern, a lot of lighting aesthetics. soft music playing over speakers
We ordered a couple appetizers which came out hot, also been getting into sushi lately. So we ordered a roll to share as an appetiter as well, very fresh. Very good, they have a large variety of sushi rolls, raw and cooked.
I ordered the black Fried Rice with chicken supposed to be more healthy than regular Fried Rice for you. It was very very good!
My wife got the spicy seafood soup, which was very good.I tried a little bit of that as well.
I can see why all the reviews were really good. Its definitely one of my top 3 now!!
The waiter was incredibly kind and brought out a ice cream bday treat for us, but we weren’t even halfway through eating it when the owner just came by and took it (we had sat our spoons down to drink and chat). A few minutes later someone comes by and just starts grabbing our waters which we were still drinking before even asking if we were done. About 10 minutes later the hostess comes over and asks us how much longer we will be even though we still had half our rather large drinks left. We explained we were still drinking (clearly) and she informed us we had been there for over the 1.5 hour table time limit and there were people waiting (we did not see a single person waiting). We sat for another few minutes and rushed to drink the rest of our drinks as we were both extremely uncomfortable.
Having worked in and managed a restaurant I could never imagine treating customers that way. An hour and a half is not a long time for a table to be sitting especially while celebrating something. If we had only ordered appetizers and non-alcoholic drinks then sure I could understand wanting to free up the table but we ordered 2 drinks each, an appetizer, 3 rolls and an entree, plus had dessert. If you would like an experience where you are rushed out and made to feel uncomfortable during a special occasion this would be the place. I am disappointed as my friend highly recommended this place and had been going for years but now neither of us will return again.
The most recent time we went was for Valentine’s Day and ordered quite a bit of food that came with the dinner package. The rolls in the photos below are from the Valentines special dinner, but are on the normal menus as well.
The lobster bomb roll is the middle roll in the photo with 3 sushi rolls. The others were amazing, but the lobster bomb roll beat everything we ordered!
I definitely recommend this place if you are looking to go out and dress up for a nicer dinner or date. We will be back!
The rolls in the photos are:
Lobster bomb Roll
Out of control Roll
Volcano Roll
Sex in the moon Roll
Sweet Heart roll
