We had a party of six and we only waited about 15 minutes for our food. It was also very affordable.
If you want BBQ and your spouse wants Mexican food, this is the place for you and you cannot go wrong with either. Everything here is original. They even make their own BBQ sauce, guac, tortillas, chips, and churros. What sets this place apart though is the atmosphere and service. It truly feels like a true small town diner where the regulars call the owner grandma. This will definitely become our lunch/dinner spot when/if we make a day trip to ft worth.
Also we were pulling a 16’ 3 horse slant trailer and we had no issues finding a parking spot.

If you read only a few lines I want you to know don’t waste your time or money. That said here is a fair review .&Great looking place inside, but my guess is the decorations are a hold over from when it was outlaw BBQ. The order takers were friendly…
Now to the reason you go for Bbq I ordered the two meet plate Ribs and brisket. I love trying new Bbq and saw this place had four+ stars… no no no the stars are likely a hold over from when it was outlaw BBQ.
Both meats lacked flavor .the Brisket was tender but did they bake it in the over? No smoke flavor no real brisket flavor . The Ribs were cooked correctly but once again no seasoning or flavor . Some people say let the meat speak. . Like I said the meet itself had little flavor . The beans are not Bbq beans as I know them they are beans in water with very little seasoning onion? No jalapeno nothing but beans and water potato salad store bought? Thought Texas Bbq was good not this place Ohhh yeah the BBQ sauce they gave me not good dull , would be a good word not tangy not sweet not spicy … dull. More of a Mexican restaurant now I think . Please don’t believe the stars rating. Nice. People Bland food .

To the Owner !!!! Please stick to Mexican Food. Worse brisket sandwich ever…. People save your money do not buy BBQ. If I could rate this place as-5 star I would.

Great food, the ribs are delicious, the brisket is well cooked and smoked, I ordered sliced brisket, but it had more of a chopped brisket plate looks… the chicken is ok and the sides are great! Cole slaw and beans are on point! The servers were nice but failed to tell us that you must order at the register before getting a table… overall a good experience!

Cynthia, the owner is great. Friendly, kind and cheerful. Good food, my wife says the quesadillas are the best, and I go for the little Joe. It’s a good blend of Mexican food and bar-b-q. And the churros, oh my gosh.

This is a decent place. Good food. They just can’t ever get my wife’s and I orders right. Been going there for about 4-5 months. We won’t be attending this place anymore. We ask for no cheese every time and they smother our food in cheese. We’re both allergic.

I had the Frank & Jesse James burger and it was disappointing. No salt or flavor is added to the burger with cold American cheese. My husband had the Duke and it was a sliced brisket sandwich w/ 4 quarter-sized charred sausage.

This little hole in the wall bbq place blew me a way. Even my picky kid loves it! The chopped beef sandwich was so juicy and tender. As a churro lover this is my new go to for a treat. I’m definitely a customer for life now.
