Welcome to The Creek Bottom! At Creek Bottom Burgers &BBQ, we believe in good quality food. We started our journey as a food truck in August of 2016, in hopes of providing the best grilled onion smash burger on wheels. We expanded our operation into a brick and mortar in February of 2020. Creek Bottom is good BBQ. The portions are large and the meat is excellent. But the side I had was mediocre. The potato salad was bland. The workers were friendly and helpful. And the interior was clean and reminiscent of a 50s diner. The prices were average to a bit high. It’s definitely a place to visit again and try a cooked side.

Usually we have no issues but this time the service was crap! We ordered 2 baked potatoes with pulled pork $13 each and a side of okra $5. Several minutes after we order they come over and tell us they only have one potato and we would need to substitute one of them. So we pick a pulled pork dinner $14. Then they come back again and say they don’t have any potatoes and offer up an $11 haystack saying the pulled pork dinner was a completely different price, its $1 different than the $13 potatoes. We get our order and no extra sides of okra so I asked about the side if it was a double order or just what came with meal and the staff had a horrible attitude and was like, did you not get one? No, we got the side that came with the $14 meals but not the two extra okras that cost $10 so we over paid. She looks at me like I’m crazy and said she will have to talk to the manager then comes back and says they will just refund it and ring it up with the correct prices. So manager hands us $10 and says will this cover it, our printers broken. And as we are leaving the girl starts talking crap about us. We were not rude, simply expected what we paid for or a refund for what we didn’t get. We literally paid $18 for a potato and okra and was given a hard time when they figured out thwy didnt have what we ordered and ordered something that was $14. I love the food but the girl working there was unprofessional and rude.

We have eaten here a few times now and every single time it was amazing! The staff was incredible and the chef did his thing on the grill.

The cheeseburger was delicious and the whole fried okra was good too. I am usually not in this area but if I am will stop here at eat again. They had 2 young people running the place and impressed by their hard work.

Dined in today while in town to pick something up. I got a mushroom Swiss burger, fries and Mac and cheese. Husband got a cheese burger and onion rings.
Both burgers were really good. Very well seasoned. The fries and onion rings were crispy and well salted. The Mac and cheese was creamy and nice to see it seemed to also made while we waited and was not just re heated as sometimes you get with Mac and cheese as a side. The cheese sauce had a nice flavor.
I also tried the sweet tea. I mixed it with a little unsweet to make it to my taste but the tea flavor itself was good!
The people running the counter and grill tonight had top notched manners and seemed to be enjoying their jobs. Very friendly and didn’t care we came in super late. They were cooking well towards the closing time and still cleaning and being friendly.

My husband and I decided to finally try this restaurant. The name of the restaurant absolutely matches the service we received. CREEK BOTTOM. The mac and cheese was suppose to be smokey, but tasted like watered down frito bean dip from the can with noodles. We waited over 20 mins for BBQ and ketchup because they forgot to clean the cups. My husband says the burger was salty but okay. Mine was suppose to be chopped brisket, but they gave me pulled pork, instead. It was okay. Could not get the BBQ sauce as stated previously. The banana pudding could have been better. Here’s the kicker: there was hardly anyone in there and we waited forever for them. The girl was rolling her eyes at me because we decided to leave instead of wait another 20 mins for BBQ and ketchup. Would have loved to give this place a better score. Unfortunately, failure on your part matches the lowest ratings. Buyer beware.

I’ll start by saying we have loved going here for a while now, but lately when asking for lean portion of meat, it is 50% fat. after it happened a few times we placed a courtesy call to the manager to let them know and their response was .. mam that’s all we had left. If that’s the case, let me know before I drive off so I’m given a choice on what I’m purchasing. I literally never do bad reviews, but think consumers need to know what they’re paying for.
