I had a wonderful experience at Campestre Chicken. The location is spotless, and you can immediately tell they take pride in everything they do. It has the feel of a family-run business, and I was greeted with genuine friendliness that set the tone for the visit.

Wow! I was very impressed with the food here. Very tasty. Very well put together. Sauces real good. Spreads perfect. We ate it all. Steak qasidia, chicken and steak fajitas, black beans.. con qeuso puposa, shrimp tacos, yellow rice… even the mixed vegetables were seasoned to perfection. I highly recommend this place. Wish I had known about it sooner. Will definitely be back. Thank you for excellent food and service!

I mentioned to my husband this morning that I’ve never had a pupusa and wanted one so badly. Lo and behold he came home with a slew of food from Campestre. Everything was awesome. Not sure what the little sauces in cups are but I basically drank those. Plantains were amazing. Husband’s steak and shrimp burrito was delicious. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend.

We got the half chicken dinner w/ rice and plantains and a chicken quesadilla.
Both were on point. Flavor on this chicken is banging. Portions were great. We actually had leftovers from the chicken dinner and reheated it the next day expected it to be dry. Put it in the air fryer on reheat and it came out moist n just as delicious.

Now… the little sauce cups they give for the chicken… flipping amazing! The creme they give with the quesadilla you can tell is from South American influence.

First time here, ordered the 1/2 POLLO-HALF Chicken for my wife and I, with rice and mixed veggies and a pupusa de chicarron…good sized portions, chicken had a nice charcoal flavour! Never had a pupusa before, nice texture and filling! Staff was helpful and polite….Will be back!

The best Peruvian chicken in Southeast MI! Campestre chicken is a small, no-frills spot that pulls you in just with the incredible smell of their chicken!

Pros: great food, affordable, good variety, efficient workers
Cons: the chicken is fantastic, but the other menu items aren’t the *best* I’ve ever had

What we ordered:
Plantains: so good! Highly recommend
Yuca fries: pretty good! I wish they salted them just a little more
Chicken: SO good. Must get!
Chicken tacos: also delicious of course because it had the chicken!
Bean & cheese pupusa: pretty good! Not the best pupusa I’ve had but very solid

Can’t wait to come back!
