Very cool seating ~ loved it. The chips and salsa left a lot to be desired but the shredded chicken quesadillas were very good. The staff was friendly but our waitress was a little inexperienced and could have been trained better. The value for the amount of food was great. My husband loved the food. Will be back for sure.

I started coming to this restaurant after I moved here a few months ago. At first I really liked it. I loved the tacos and the chips and everything was great. But lately it seems to be pretty terrible. The chips are stale and taco shells stale. Service is mega slow. Takes 10-15 minutes to be brought your drinks. Or even for the waitress to ask you what you are drinking. I can understand that sometimes taco Tuesday is busy but it shouldn’t take that long. Next time I think I’m going to find a different Mexican restaurant to go to.

Ordered lunch carryout today for 8 people. Everyone really enjoyed their food. I thought it was great. Inside has cool decor and the lady at the register was nice. Only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the 2 orders on the bottoms of the bags got a little caved in.

We used to go in there all the time for our work lunches and we loved it. Today we ordered the same as usual and were told it would be a 10-15 minute wait. I got there in 20 and ended up waiting another 25 for my food. When we got it to the store, all the food was cold and the hard tacos were soggy and didn’t taste right at all. My coworker ordered 3 streak tacos, only 2 had meat and onions and such on them and all of them were cold. The street tacos were edible once they were dispersed, but the rest was tossed. We called to complain and get a refund for the food that we were unable to eat, and the manager snapped at me to bring it in and hung up on me before I could ask for clarification. I wouldn’t normally complain and have never asked for a refund, but their over all customer service and the horrible food quality pushed me. We will no longer be going there for work lunches, and I won’t bother getting the refund. A couple tacos and $10 is not worth getting yelled at by the manager.

THERE WAS A METAL SCREW IN THE FOOD. My wife’s food had a metal screw in it. She was so lucky she did not break a tooth. They said it must have dropped out from the vent over their stove. They did not seemed concerned about this in my opinion.
Went for lunch on Sunday, it was slow and the service seemed slow as well. The price to food potions are bad. High prices & small portions. Had a $11 burrito dinner that was as much food as I get for $3 at taco bell. Quality of the food was low. Failed on both quality & quantity for me.
Could not go back while under same management, do not recommend this place. Do Not Waste Your Money, there are too many other good Mexican places around .

Staff was ultra friendly. Great food. The menu actually has more than just the standards around here so that’s a plus out of the gate. The good came fast was cooked great and was really good. They even gave my child ice cream just because. My favorite salsa of the area and just a great experience. After moving up here 2 years ago from down south I’ve been looking for a place like this. I’ll be back frequently.

I love this place. I always feel better when I walk in. It’s so colorful. You can feel the atmosphere immediately. I usually eat there 2 to 3 times a month. The prices are great. They, also, have daily specials. If you love Mexican food this is the place to eat in Flat Rock.

Great place! My husband and I are from traverse city and make sure we stop here. I love the food. Highly recommend. Very authentic, great tasting. Just like the authentic mexican restaurants I’ve been to in Arizona. Recommend the pork Tamale. My favorite!

This place is one of the only Mexican restaurants this far south in metro Detroit. I must say that is not a bad thing. The food is always fresh and we’ll made. Taco Tuesday is a great value. Only wish is that there was an option for flour tortillas on taco Tuesday. Only hard corn unfortunately. But the chicken is flavorful and the ground beef is outstanding. Chips are always warm and salsa is great.
