Timbers Table & Kitchen continues to impress us every time we visit. For a buffet located inside a waterpark resort, the overall quality is remarkably high. The ingredients taste fresh, the dishes are consistently well-prepared, and the variety ensures there is something for everyone.

This place has a lot of potential- especially being the only dinner buffet in all of Foxwoods. It’s in a kids hotel, so the theming is a fun kids woodlands. It’s dark and lit up with surrounding trees. It’s cute and creative.
The food – had a lot of options. Love the variety and the carving station – but a simple adjustment to their prime rib and it will be a tender perfection.
If you see this Great Wolfe Lodge here is a tip:
Cover the prime rib in grass fed butter, salt, cracked pepper garlic, rosemary, thyme
Cook on high 525 for 15 minutes then shut the oven off completely don’t open until it’s time – you’ll have to do the calculations based off lbs.
This will give you a tender roast every time. The meat was tough and the au ju lacked flavor – but the concept is perfect. You just need to tweak the recipes a bit more for tenderness, texture and flavor.
A little salt, pepper, and other spices, healthy fats amd acids make a difference!
The breakfast buffet was better and loved the fresh omelet station! Definitely go for that over the scrambled eggs… again a little butter, salt and pepper go a long way.

Great food and service. The atmosphere is for kids with a nice forest them. Staff was very nice and let us take a look at the food before we choose to eat their. It is a self serve restaurant.

Great environment as it’s right inside the new Grand Wolf Lodge, so there’s the plus of not having to leave the location. Also, there’s plenty of seating. Service was good.
Food was good for a buffet inside a hotel aimed for kids. There’s plenty variety, both for dinner and breakfast (we did both).
The one big downside is that it’s absolutely overpriced- even for all the convenience it offers.

Great atmosphere. Definitely overpriced. Felt bad for the staff as they tried to manage a situation where a child vomited near the buffet line. Staff replaced the entire line, which I was happy to see. We were not compensated when the line was shut down. We left shortly after. My waiter was stretched thin as she tried to be attentive to us but wasn’t. The food was edible, lacked flavor. Won’t be returning.

Cool atmosphere; good food. Even with the meal package (discount) the price is a bit high for the quality & selection on the buffet line. Considering that it is on site though, it is worth the cost if you prefer not to drive for any particular meal.

Food are not that good and expensive!! The steak cutters guy are not too friendly. If you asked one more piece extra. His not give you happy face. In fact this is buffet you don’t have to chip with costumer !!

Food was decent but can get boring after eating the same menu everyday of your stay. There is no variety as far daily menu is concerned. Staff was amazing. We enjoyed talking to Don and Sonja they both provided exceptional service.
Don has great charisma and he kept the drink station immaculate. Always smiling and serving customers. Sonja was very attentive and didn’t waste anytime in keeping the table clean and got our orders correct. Thank you both. Atmosphere is busy but we decided to come after an hour of buffet opening so it won’t be too crowded.
