I highly recommend this charming bakery/ restaurant in Norwalk, Connecticut. It provides an excellent setting for socializing with friends and enjoying a pleasant experience. The ambiance evokes fond memories of our cherished Haiti. Outstanding customer service can be challenging to find within our community, yet La Baguette surpasses expectations in this regard. I encourage you to visit and experience it firsthand; you will not be disappointed.

Was visiting with my Mom & sis for my Mom’s birthday. Ordered a dozen patties & 3 bottles of Cola Lacaye. The patties were a bit too salty but they weren’t as oily as the other La Baguettes in the city. So, because we were still parked outside, I decided to order more. And my sis asked me to exchange one of the bottles because it was completely flat.
The lady behind the counter looked visibly annoyed that I’d returned. I asked for more patties and told her the soda was flat. Her reply: ‘So? I didn’t make it.’ I asked for a replacement, she insisted it wasn’t her problem. Walked out & will never return.
Apparently their business model prefers nasty attitudes over sales. Their loss.

I had heard from a friend of mines about this restaurant, and I had to check it out. I must say for my first time being there, I was really impressed with the customer service, and the food was amazingly tasty. The price wasn’t too bad at all for the amount of food they plated. I will definitely visit again and referred to others, and overall, they get 5 stars from me.

I was delighted to discover Haitian cuisine right in Norwalk during a recent trip home to Connecticut. La Baguette is a charming cafe with an elegant and friendly chef that offers an authentic taste of Haiti. We thoroughly enjoyed a flavorful entree of red snapper served with fried green plantains, a fresh and colorful garden salad, rice with green peas, creamy macaroni salad, and a generous helping of zesty pikliz. Every bite was delicious and brought back memories of my first visit to Haiti and the wonderful meals I enjoyed there. I highly recommend La Baguette for anyone looking to enjoy the delicious and traditional flavors of Haitian cuisine in a warm, welcoming setting.

I just learned that La Baguette opened in Norwalk last week and could have almost cried. Norwalk was in desperate need of a Haitian bakery and I’m so happy one is finally here but not just any one – LA BAGUETTE! They are well known in Brooklyn and Queens, NY and beyond.
I’ve been there twice already and have had beef, chicken, smoked herring and the cod fish patties – all delicious with the right amount heat.
I tried their hot chocolate and it is very good. Lemonade was delicious and although more sweet than I typically like lemonade, I just add water to dilute it a bit.
I can’t wait to try their fritay ☺️
The owner is very nice and gteets you with a warm smile.
