Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Their burgers beat the local competition hands down. I had a triple and my wife got a double. YUM! We both had onion rings. Whataburger is consistently delicious. We were greeted upon entering and our orders taken immediately. There was no mistakes on our order and staff went out of their way to be nice. We got our food fast and they brought our food to the table with a smile! We were even treated to a hot apple pie. The place was spotless and I could tell they took pride in keeping it shining like a dime. Thank you Whataburger for another great dine-in experience!

I’m not a fan of there burgers, but my husband likes them when we go…I get a salad…I was kind of irritated because my favorite salad from there with the cranberries and apples they discontinued.. so really there’s nothing there I would eat now…so it wouldn’t be a place we as a couple will go eat…

The young that took my order was spot on. She was very sweet and pleasant.
I had an issue with more order. And she made sure that it was done correctly.
The cheese hamburger was not made correctly the first time, but when it was made the second time, it was not hot.
The fries were cold and soggy.
The restaurant itself was very clean and it had a very good atmosphere.
The food itself could use a lot of work to be fresh.

I walk to Whataburger quite a bit and there’s usually great customer service and I’ve never complained until now. I was waiting on my coffee and the manager approached me and asked if he could get my phone number or snap… he was probably in his 30s and I am a minor. this is not what we should be normalizing. It was very unprofessional and made me uncomfortable the lady who did take my order, though was very sweet. Just wanna warn everybody about the manager though

We stopped here on a Saturday supper time and we’re serviced quickly. It’s a nice clean establishment and the price and quality of food seemed reasonable. Definitely a piece of history from the past. Restaurant was very clean, even the bathrooms.

Early Saturday morning at 2 AM, I found myself embarking on a 20-mile drive to satisfy my youngest daughter’s craving for something healthy. With Subway no longer an option due to their lack of meatballs for her desired meatball sub, we turned to online searches for alternatives. We were pleasantly surprised by the apple and cranberry salad, which came generously dressed with vinaigrette. We decided to enhance it further by adding grilled chicken and eggs, and it turned out to be absolutely amazing!
While the customer service was decent, I opted for a 4-star review instead of 5 simply because I found the online prices to be about $3 cheaper. If I had known that in advance, I would have happily placed our order through the app instead of at the drive-thru. I just happened to show my daughter the online menu while leaving Subway, which was a bit unfortunate. Nevertheless, our overall experience was enjoyable, and I would certainly recommend it!

This store is new and everything was great! Took a little while to get our food but not too long. Definitely try the onion rings!! The spicy ketup was yummy. The place was very clean and the staff was super friendly. Clean bathroom too. Only thing I’d do different is get mayo on my cheeseburger, they all come with mustard unless you specify.
Update: went back tonight, the French fries were cold and hard. Figured they would be hot and fresh after waiting so long on our food!

The burgers are always a hit. It was really late and they were doing shift change. The employees were arguing because they wouldn’t let the late chick in. Lol.

Truly a one of a kind location. This store exceeds expectations and falls on its face at the same time. As a veteran, I can say I have requested the free coffee at night before, to be turned down. As a customer, CHECK YOUR FOOD EVERY TIME. Most of the time they have omitted something from my orders, and some of the time, given the run-around on making it right! As a door dasher, this location often offers free drinks for extended waits, and on most nights, that’s more than appreciated. Truly a one of a kind location with amazing food, and still better than most any other joint around.
