I usually don’t bother writing complaints, but unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. One of the staff members—who I believe is the manager—was incredibly rude. I had accidentally called the wrong location and placed a pickup order there. When I arrived at this store and realized the mistake, I told them I would cancel the order at the other location and place a new one here since I was already on-site.

That’s when a short, heavy-set man told me, “Well, you’re wasting their time and supplies. That’s really dirty business.” Then he closed the drive-thru window and had someone else take my order. I was shocked.

My order then took over 30 minutes—clearly intentional—and when I politely asked for an update (since people who walked in after me were already leaving), the same man snapped at me, saying, “I’m not going to stand here and listen to you complain. He’s literally making your order right now!”

Excuse me? That’s absolutely not how you treat a customer. Totally unacceptable.

To top it all off, after waiting 35 minutes, my order was wrong—there was no chipotle mayo on item #47. Hilarious.

I’ll also be contacting corporate about this experience.

UPDATE: NOV 6 2025
I ordered a #7 in the drive through and was asked for a name for my order, which I’ve never been asked but that’s not really the issue. The fact my name was asked somehow still didn’t help in getting my order. I paid and sat at the drive-thru window and noticed I didn’t see anyone for a long while until someone came up to start cleaning the meat case. I honked to get his attention and asked if I was still waiting for my sandwich. He said, “he’s finishing it up right now” as he looked at the grill. I got concerned because why are you looking at the grill if I ordered a #7?! So I said “finishing up a #7?”, he said “oh”, and grabbed a sub that had been sitting on the counter for who knows how long and just gave it to me. So someone basically made the sub, left it at the drive threw, never told anyone.. and everyone was just in their own little world while I was sitting there waiting! I know these are probably mistakes and oversights to most people, but the amount of times I’ve been coming here for this to happen more than not is really beyond frustrating. The blatant lack of communication and lackadaisical attitudes is so frustrating by the time I leave I’m so frustrated I end up loosing my appetite. What did you need my name for in the first place if you’re not even communicating?

I’ve been getting more wrong orders lately than should be allowed. No way I asked for a MINI 7 ON WHEAT and I got a REGULAR 7 ON WHITE ‍ Didn’t even realize what I was paying
Can we please start repeating/confirming orders with customers?!

Totally messed up my order. Asked for it mikes way for mine and my fiancées sub. Only tweak was no vinegar on her sub. All he did was make MY sub without mikes way. Totally ruined my night. Don’t go here.

Smallest selection of toppings i have ever seen in a Jersey Mike’s. However all was fresh and good. Reminded me of toppings from a Subway restaurant 35 years ago. I can’t explain it.

Terrible store do not go here. We sat in the drive through line for 15 minutes after ordering. No one was helped and multiple people left the drive through line. As we drive by there was no one in line inside

Never coming back here again! As a former Jmikes employee when I was in high school. This store should be ashamed. The produce was well past expired as if it had been the same bins since they opened and it was 7 pm. The lettuce was red, the tomatoes were mushy and the onions had a lot of green in them and some translucent. They definitely need to be retrained on making a sub, all my toppings were in the middle of the sandwich, all of the meat was hanging off one side and there was no meat on the other side. Yeah I’ll be driving further to go to a different one. If I hadn’t had an injury making driving difficult I would’ve left and gone to a different one. The blade and toss station was also filthy for there to be only a single customer there when I was in line.

Order was ready 15 minutes past the expected time. There was a kid making the sandwiches who was obviously new. I worked at Subway for two years in high school. I get it. But the number of times he had to re-wrap the sandwich while someone showed him how to do it over and over was ridiculous. I understand needing to train a new person but it shouldn’t take 20+ minutes to make and wrap three sandwich’s where there aren’t any other orders ahead on the line. Then when I finally got the bag (with an apology, which was kind) I asked if i I could have one of the paper bowls. My kid needed to eat in the car since we were now late for his baseball game. I was told they couldn’t give me a bowl. The guy that told me that was just following protocol I’m sure, but given the experience that just felt like salt in the wound. Especially after spending $63 (including a tip given at order time).

Don’t bother ordering for pickup. You just get ignored and skipped my people who show up and get in line.

Visiting from out of town. I was so excited about them having a drive thru only to find out you can’t actually order from it. I placed a mobile order, #8 on rosemary and my order was incorrect.
