Absolutely love this bagel spot. The bagels are always fresh, soft on the inside with that perfect chew on the outside, and you can tell they actually care about quality here. The flavors are on point, the spreads are generous, and everything tastes like it was made the right way—not rushed, not cheap.
The staff is friendly, welcoming, and moves efficiently even when it’s busy. You never feel like you’re being rushed, and the vibe is just good—one of those places you actually enjoy stopping into. Portions are solid, prices are fair, and consistency is A+.
Definitely one of those places that turns a regular morning into a better one. Highly recommend if you’re a bagel lover or just want a reliable, satisfying bite.

I was just there. Their bagels have no flavor & very dry. Couldn’t eat the whole bagel it was that dry. Not a chewy NJ bagel. I’ve been here before. I try it at least 1x per year. I still feel their bagels aren’t good. Customer service was good. The man who helped me was pleasant.

I stopped by Firehouse Bagels and tried the bacon, egg, and cheese—honestly, it was average. What really stood out, though, was the condition of the place. Nearly everything felt either sticky or slippery, which was off-putting. The high chairs were especially filthy and sticky, and it didn’t look like they had been cleaned in a while. There seemed to be a layer of sticky dust coating everything, including the stuffed animals scattered around the shop.
I really hope the next time I visit, the cleanliness has improved. The food has potential, but the overall atmosphere made it hard to enjoy the experience.

It’s a nice hometown spot with a nice history. I like getting breakfast sandwiches and different types of bagels from there. Portions are generous. The staff are nice and talk to you about your day etc. I definitely recommend it if you’re in the area.

My favorite bagel spot and overall breakfast/lunch dine in, in all of sussex county. Love that they have year round pumkin spice coffee, and its actually the best amongst all the chains around here. All the breakfast is just too good. My kids love coming here on the weekends!

Avoid this place. Overpriced, low quality, and very rude when I called and asked to fix the problem.
I ordered two subs with just veggies and cheese (because we don’t eat meat) and when I got home and opened them, they’re all bread (and the bread is stale). They didn’t include all the veggies I asked for as well.
When I called, the owner offered to remake them if I brought all the food back, but when I asked to leave a piece of food so my kids can eat (30 minute drive round trip), I was told no. He doesn’t seem to understand how to speak respectfully to women.
I went here because we love Firehouse Bagels in Branchville but it’s closed. These are not the same people.
Also, as I waited for my food, I watched almost everyone have to get their orders or food corrected. Go to any other bagel place around here and I guarantee it will be better.

I used to visit one of the owners at his shop in Chester NJ. When he moved up here, I made it a point to make this place my go-to bagel place. Food is great, staff is super friendly and accommodating. Great people, great food, all around.

Arguably one of the best pumpernickel bagels in the area. We are spoiled as there are others around. Sean, Cecelia are key. We miss Abbey.

Delicious fresh bagels on the spot. The 2egg Taylor Ham and cheese with ketchup was perfect. Place is very clean, great customer service and very convenient. If you are in the mood for a fresh tasty bagel, I definitely recommend this place.
