The food was very good. I got a big toasted fish sub. I was impressed with it. My partner got a roast beef and mushroom melt and it was delicious. The sides were pretty solid too.
Atmosphere is only getting a 3 because, well it is in a gas station and if you’ve never been here before, you’d probably assume the restaurant is in the bar section. Service also got a 3 because the one staff member that decided to actually talk to me only pointed out the shelf my food was on and I had to fumble it out the door and too my car without a bag to carry it in. Overall I’d say this is worth a stop. Good food. Service was probably what you’d expect.

Hawks nest seriously needs some quality control on their carry out orders. Our orders are often incorrect, and / or missing items.
I could order the same sub 3 times, and it’ll be made differently each time. a good example is the pizza sub, the menu states that it is an open faced sub, but at least twice now, it’s came as a close faced mess. Some consistency would go a long way

Really good food, just an absolutely unique place. An old garage on the side of a gas station converted into a restaurant and pub. Huge selection of craft beers on tap. Warning, this is not a bar for the hard stuff as they do not serve liquor. If you enjoy beer and a great atmosphere, this is the place for you.

Never been there before. Service was horrible unfortunately. One of the people in our party kept waiting for her food and didn’t get it till a half hour later. Place wasn’t busy… Food was good but over all a bit pricy for what you get.

The place to go in Alexandria! Ha! Actually the place to go for great food and great micro brews in Central Ohio. Don’t let the outside appearance fool you. A converted old gas station makes for a great pub/restaurant. 6/23 – New owners didn’t change much, which is good. Still a great place for food and drinks.

The food is alright, IF you manage to get it. The servers/bartenders can’t take proper orders, the kitchen can’t work on more than 1 ticket at a time so they’re constantly backed up. Somehow they manage to lose tickets from the time you place your order until you finally tell them you’ve never received it. You can walk in and the servers completely ignore you as if they don’t want you to dine there. I won’t ever be back.
