Still owned by the same family although the lady that owned it passed away her grandchildren kept the recipe and are running the restaurant now. It’s very inexpensive,& clean the staff is very friendly and helpful a must when you are in Progreso Mexico

My favorite place to eat when I visit. The lonches are the best and for less than $5, it’s a great deal. Fresh cream, slasa and lime gives it a pop of flavor.

One of the locals recommended this place. I went in and ordered 2 tacos expecting something like the tiny street tacos you get in Houston, but no, they gave me two enormous tacos that were much closer in mass to something from Freebird’s just not as dense. Really tasty. Very nice people inside.

I’ve been coming here for over 20 years. It’s my favorite place in Nuevo Progreso. It’s cheap and so delicious. I recommend tacos with flour tortillas but even the burgers are great.

Best Tacos. I always order the “El Especial” always good and very inexpensive. It comes with 5 medium size tacos with avocado and creama and shredded cabage. Alot of times we go to Nuevo Progreso, just to go eat the tacos. The place is clean and air conditoned. Only place I trust enough to eat in Mexico. They serve all types of tacos but l personally order the same ones.
