Great tasting BBQ!! This is how BBQ should be done. Everything from the meats to the sides tasted of perfection. I’m so excited to find a place that actually does BBQ right. Smoked, flavored fill meats with savory sides cooked with love. I’m not even close to this location but a friend told me about them. My meal was phenomenal. I will definitely make this a go to when I’m on this side of town.

I used to love this place . Literally has been my pregnancy craving for 3 kids . I’m pregnant with the 3rd now and been wanting the food but the past few times I’ve gotten food it’s been horrible . I ALWAYS get ribs and mac . The past two or three times I’ve gone the ribs are literally soggy , broke apart missing pieces and just full of fat and inedible , the Mac and cheese taste like someone
spilled black pepper in it and just left it . The only edible thing on the plate was the fries . Highly disappointed . I called to try to speak with someone just to be left on hold for 10+ minutes . I won’t be back

I eat at Luckeys regularly and always have a great experience. Service and food is prompt and the best barbecue in the area and their are better than any restaurant in Marietta.

I believed in 2nd/3rd chances for local business and after speaking with staff and the owner, I still received BAD food. Chicken livers had a waxy taste and then my mouth was hit with overpowering burnt grease. NO WAY, I made use of their trash outside the restaurant. I didn’t even bother to speak with them again. It obviously does not matter. $14 for a handful of ckn livers that were Horrible. TASTE what you are serving at the beginning of your day so you know what not to do and to maintain customers. Shocked!
Plenty of parking bcus it’s typically empty.

This place had delectable sides and excellent sauces. However, the brisket and the pork were both unimpressive. The meat was dry and tough. We were there at noon on a Saturday and the meat tasted like it was from the Sunday prior. We will go back for the sides and sauce! We had the Brunswick stew, coleslaw, mac n cheese, and baked beans. Each side was delicious and up there as some of our favorites! I love all kinds of sauces, so the variety was very nice! They have a spicy sauce in the back you must ask for. It’s not as hot as they warned, but a great flavor profile.

The restaurant is very clean, and they have good customer service. The food, however, is quite bad. everything we ordered, was barely look warm and was borderline cold, including the meats. The chicken was extremely dry and not fresh. The brisket was mostly in minced pieces, which was odd. The portion sizes are extremely small. Side dishes are served in tiny plastic dixie cups and meats are served right on the tray liner. I think if they focused more on food quality and presentation, this could be a successful restaurant.

Randomly ordered one day and was so surprised that I ordered again during the week to see if it was a fluke or if they were consistent.

FOOD: Brisket, macaroni, greens. Best I’ve had at any restaurant. BBQ beans. Wish I had more beans than sauce. Ribs were a little ‘too done’. I didn’t care for the super dense cornbread muffin. I preferred the Texas toast.

TAKEOUT VS DINE IN: Dine in was the better experience even though I went during lunch. Not a bad wait. Employees were pleasant. Restaurant is clean. When ordering takeout, I’ve found that your food will sit on the counter for some time before you actually get the text that it’s ready.

I’ll visit again but will stick to the few items I had the first visit.

Overall the food is good. Prepared to order it appears which is excellent. Food was fresh. The fries were amazing. Can do without the potato salad and the baked beans were decent. Nice ambiance. Be prepared to pay 50 cent for any additional bbq sauces if you order take out.

Ordered the catfish platter with Mac and cheese & potato salad & added a side of beans ( they don’t contain any meat) which I was so happy about. Everything tasted amazing, catfish fried to perfection 2 healthy size pieces, Mac and cheese was good just needed a tad more salt but no big deal, potato salad just right, but babbyy those baked beans 10/10 nice and Smokey not too sweet. It’s more of a order at the counter sit down and they bring the food to you kind of spot, but I still cleaned up after my self. Cashier was nice and patient. Spent about $22 with gratuity for platter extra side and a fountain drink. Would definitely recommend and be back soon.

The place is so underrated but its becoming more and more, our family’s neighborhood go-to for good BBQ! It’s consistently good, the portions are good, and sides are tasty! We usually do dine-in, but did a takeout order and the food was just as great! Give them a try! Don’t sleep on this community gem!
