The funny thing was by the time the server delivered the dessert to our table, the song ended already lol
Honestly, everything was fine except for the service of our server. There were only 3 tables when we were dining there. There were plenty of empty tables. We ordered a bunch of different things, but he didn’t think our table was too small. I thought perhaps the food won’t all be served at the same time, so our small table would be OK, but after the first dish, everything else was served at once. Our table was obviously too small, but the server asked us if we could put all the food from the previous dish onto our plates… but then even if we did that, the table was still too small for everything we ordered. It was then he decided to move another table over and told us, while we were doing what he asked for, we didn’t need to do that anymore…
When we were still eating, he somehow came over and wanted to take our food away. We were shocked and said we were still working on it, and then he left. Just kinda funny… never encountered a server of this kind.
I will definitely come here again.
Overall, decent restaurant and would come for the Pasta Nights but probably not the regular menu nights.
Beer Burrata Salad – 3.8/5 – good amount of burrata, but wish there was a thicker layer of greens. Also beets were unavailable as apparently they are out of season. However, it was the same price and there wasn’t anything else to make up for the missing ingredient.
Yam fries – 4.5/5 – solid.
Chicken wings – 3.5/5 – wings were on the smaller side. Sauce was good though — honey garlic and BBQ. The carrots and celery were sad looking, better off to not put it at all, for what’s meant to be a “nicer” restaurant.
Classic Cheeseburger – 4/5 – beef patty was juicy, good amount of fries. No complaints
Overall, decent restaurant, but I would not go out of my way to eat here.
We had a lovely dinner at Alchemy Bar and Kitchen. The food was excellent, flavourful, and made with care. Drinks were also delicious, with a creative cocktail list that made it easy to try something new.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, though at times a little hard to flag down. Still, the overall energy was warm, and we appreciated the kind greeting from the kitchen team as we passed by on our way to the restroom.
The outdoor patio was a nice place to sit, and the space had a relaxed, easygoing feel. The menus themselves were unique, visually creative and a good reflection of the personality behind the place.
Family-owned and it shows in the details. Would recommend for a casual dinner out, a small gathering with friends, or anyone looking for great food with a bit of character.
The Italian food here is perfection — fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, and beautifully presented. We tried the homemade pasta, wood-fired pizza, and a few appetizers, and every single dish was bursting with flavor. The drinks were equally impressive, with perfectly balanced cocktails and a fantastic wine selection that paired wonderfully with our meal.
What really made this dining experience special was Melika’s service. She anticipated everything we needed without us having to ask, and her attention to detail made us feel truly cared for.
If you want authentic Italian cuisine, amazing drinks, and exceptional service, you absolutely need to come here and ask for Melika. We can’t wait to come back!
