Olive Branch Design
Typically, where I’m from a vegetarian meal is a bowl of frozen vegetables. Catalina served me the most delicious vegetarian burrito that I think I’ve ever had. It had just the right amount of spice and the side of pancake balls, balanced everything out perfectly. I left there a very happy woman the environment was fun and relaxed and staff was upbeat and very helpful.

Had brunch here and it was amazing! I ordered the pork tacos and they were absolutely delicious. It was so good that I couldn’t even wait to take a picture before digging in. The photo I took was after I’d already eaten two out of the three tacos! I wasn’t a big fan of the corn but that did not take away from my experience. Great food, great flavors, and definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.

If you’re looking for Over The Top, but in the best way possible, here you go. REALLY tasty food, the maple cold brew was incredible, and there are enough unique items on the menu to need a few visits to try them all (without going overboard, as we might have). Looking forward to going back ASAP!

Parking was a challenge, the line was long. The place is trendy and was crowded. It was hard to find a seat. But it’s in a nice part of town, and we ended up with a fun window view. The food was disappointing. I had the sweet and spicy bacon, which was very good, and also the dolce de leche pancake balls, which were sickeningly sweet. I usually really like sweets, but this was a bit much even for me. My girlfriend had to huevos rancheros, which were fine but a bit soggy. And they were both surprisingly expensive.

So glad we found this gem in looking for unique options while in town. We had the pancake balls with pumpkin apple butter and bacon and the blood orange juice. So delicious and never had anything like it. Fun atmosphere and staff was quick and friendly

Had a really nice lunch here – sort of a funky place – definitely a funky, fun and tasty menu! I had the Mexican “French” toast with local maple syrup and sweet and spicy bacon and an iced tea. I was happy to see that local ingredients are used where possible (the maple syrup was excellent!) and the sweet and spicy bacon was surprisingly hot – a nice treat! The staff were very nice and we were able to sit outside on the porch. I would be happy to visit again – note however, that at the time of review they were not accepting cash…

I had a real nice experience. The staff was very friendly. I sat on the patio. I also liked the character of the restaurant. I had seen this restaurant on DDD. I wanted 2 try it out especially since it’s in my town. The food wasn’t bad. I tried the pancake ball and the spicy bacon.

While my childhood friend was in town, we decided to check out Katalina’s and overall, it was a good experience! The atmosphere was fun and the food was tasty, though a little on the pricey side.
I ordered the bacon with eggs served in a unique sourdough toast where they cut out the center of the bread and bake the egg right in. It looked beautiful and was definitely Instagram-worthy, but a little tricky to eat. The purple breakfast potatoes were flavorful, and I also tried the pancake balls—those were a hit!
All in all, I’d give Katalina’s a solid review. Great place to catch up with a friend and enjoy something a little different!

It’s the “restaurant of rules” There are rules on the sign before you enter and a sign at every table that says “don’t cheat and get a table before ordering.” Insulting and doesn’t make sense. I felt like I was being brow beaten for being there….I felt like they think it’s a privilege to be there. Of course I want to make sure I get a table before ordering in. They also don’t take the legal tender of cash supposedly to keep staff “safe.” News flash people, the pandemic has been over for going on six years. Not taking cash is ridiculous and a poor business practice. Was not impressed. Won’t be back.

Really enjoyed my breakfast here. I got the pancake balls with Nutella and veggie sausage patties AND the Big Ol’ Burrito (I had a to go box) both were very good! I really like the atmosphere. Parking fills up quickly but there are side streets where you can find a spot. It was a little more expensive than I had planned, but that won’t keep me from going back-AND I got two meals sooo…
I highly recommend this place if you’re tired of the same old breakfast fare and atmosphere!
