My brother and I stopped in last night (Friday, July 21), and as you can see by the picture, the presentation of the two tacos I ordered was pristine. Though it was our first time over, the employees made it a comfortable place to enjoy a quality meal with quality service at a reasonable price. I will definitely be returning soon.

Stopped by here because it was the closest restaurant to me at the time and I was starving. Tacos are always a good idea on a Tuesday! Salsa Street has a $2.50 special on beef, chicken and Al Pastor tacos every Tuesday. I ordered two beef tacos (ground beef, pico, and spicy crème) and one chicken taco (chicken, pico and cheese) to go. The food was prepared fresh to order and served nice and hot in a to go plate along with a lime wedge and green salsa on the side. As far as taste I would give it an 8/10. The chicken on the chicken taco was a tad bit on the dry side and I think it should come with the crème on it like the beef taco. As for the beef taco, I think it should have included cheese as well. Yes I could’ve added these things to my tacos but I wanted to taste them in their original glory. All in all I enjoyed my meal and will definitely stop by again if in the area.

I had high hopes for this place, but I found the food to be bland. The chips and salsa were the most remarkable items from our meal. If you like flavors of Zaca Tacos, Los Comales, or Big Star, Salsa Street will be a let down.

First time being here after living next to this place for three years and wish I would’ve come here earlier! The food is flavorful, filling, and made fresh. Since the food is hot and made fresh expect a few minutes of wait but I promise it’s WELL worth the wait. I got the pork carnitas street tacos and HOMEMADE churros for dessert. Our host was so sweet and made sure we were comfortable I will definitely be coming here any time I can!

A nice quiet mexican restaurant in a strip mall. Stopped in around 5pm on a rainy Friday night and i was the only customer in the building. I did hear that they where taking some orders for either takeoit or delivery. Had the chicken burrito bowl and was very pleased with the portion size as well as the quality of the food. Also had a mango marriaggrita. Overall pretty good though i did think that it wss a bit pricey but maybe this is the going rate in the Chicago area.

My brother treated me to dinner today. Tacos were delicious. I ordered the taco trio platter. It came with rice and black beans. I loved the citrus shrimp taco and relleno taco. Chicken tinga was just not my taste. I will be visiting them again. Thank you.

Went in to order pickup. They were not having dine-in that night because they were short staffed. The hostess, Dalia, took our order and answered our questions. We even had margaritas while we waited for our food. The portions were very generous and tasty! Dalia also told us about the special events they have in other night and the other locations. Great experience with the ordering, waiting and then eating the dinner when we were home.
